As part of the B&L Tetra-Cycle Recycling Programe, we have diverted over 1 million pieces of used contact lenses, blister packs and top foils from oceans, lakes, streams and landfills across the country. Globally, the same program has diverted close to ten million pieces of contact lens waste from landfill and incineration. Together we work to collect the waste and use it to create new outdoor products such as garden beds, park benches and playground equipment. A big thank you for those of you who have contributed and don't forget to bring in your CL package waste and giving it a second life.

12.01.2022 COVID-19 and Contact Lens Wear (Just in case you ask...) There is currently no evidence to suggest that there is any increased risk of infection or contracting coronavirus through contact lens wear. Remember to follow strict hygiene measures, such as thorough handwashing, along with optimal wear and care procedures. These include replacing your lenses as prescribed, case hygiene for reusable lenses and avoiding lens wear if you are unwell (in particular with any cold or flu-l...ike symptoms). Avoid touching your eyes, especially in high risk environments, and remember to ask yourself these three questions each time you wear your lenses: Do my eyes feel good with my lenses? There should be no discomfort. Do my eyes look good? There should be no redness. Do I see well? There should be no unusual blurring with either eye. If you have any concerns, remove your contact lenses and consult our optometrist.
