21.01.2022 At about 2:00 am on 2 December 2020, Police received a call from an observant member of the public who was witnessing two males allegedly forcing open a fire door and enter a secure premises on Lord Street, Perth. Perth Detectives were conducting proactive NightSafe patrols in our community, immediately attended and observed the damaged fire door, entered the location to conduct a search. Two males were found inside the secure car park area of the premises, allegedly stealin...g bicycles and were immediately arrested. A subsequent search of both males located what is believed to be methylamphetamine, plus burglary tools (screwdrivers / bolt cutters / pliers), and other bicycle related property that may have also been stolen. Upon further investigations, one male was also wanted for questioning in relation to another matter and the other male was subject to a return to prison warrant. A 45 year old male from Hamilton Hill has been arrested and charged with; 1 x Aggravated Burglary with Intent 1 x Aggravated Burglary and Commit 1 x Stealing A 50 year old male from Maddington has been arrested and charged with: 1 x Aggravated Burglary and Commit 1 x Stealing 1 x Possess Prohibited Drug (Methylamphetamine) Investigations ongoing and further charge may be pending. #policing #twentyfourseven #morecrooksoffourstreets #NightSafe #helpingtokeepourcommunitysafe

WA were the only state to host an official Leavers and we had the biggest turnout ever with over 9000 attending. 'The Zone' was the hotspot this year where leavers partied responsibly in the huge 20,000sqm area.

20.01.2022 From 14 December 2020, wheel clamping will become illegal in Western Australia. Under these new laws issued by the State Government, wheel clamping and other forms of vehicle immobilisation can no longer be used to control parking in WA. Always check parking signage for any instructions or restrictions when parking your car.

12.01.2022 A reminder that from 12.01 am on Saturday 14 November 2020, we will move to a controlled interstate border. Every traveller will still need to complete a registration and declaration using G2G PASS to enter WA. Each G2G PASS will be scanned by an authorised officer upon arrival.... 12.01.2022 Drink or Drug driving is never acceptable, but crashing into a police car outside our police station makes it even easier to catch you. At about 6.40 am on Friday 27 November 2020, a driver who is also under MDL suspension, was illegally driving on our roads going past Perth Police Station when she clipped a car and then into the rear of a marked police vehicle. Usual roadside tests conducted on the driver, plus a drug wipe test which has returned a positive reading.... 03.01.2022 Perth Police have charged a 19-year-old male following an investigation into an alleged incident on Saturday, 14 November 2020 in Perth. Police will allege that at approximately 12:00am, a male suspect was involved in an altercation with a group of people near the traffic lights of Barrack Street and Wellington Street. A short time later a male suspect was involved in an altercation with a 53-year-old male in an area near the intersection of Wellington Street and Barrack Str...eet, Perth. During the altercation the male victim was struck, causing him to fall to the ground and hit his head. St John Ambulance conveyed the male to Royal Perth Hospital where he was treated for serious head and facial injuries. A 19-year-old man from North Dandalup has now been charged with: Assault Occasioning Bodily Harm Give False Details to Police Disorderly Behaviour in a Public Place He will appear at Perth Magistrates Court on 12 January 2020. 01.01.2022 Perth Detectives are seeking information regarding an armed robbery incident in Rivervale on Thursday 20 August 2020, during which a Toyota Hilux was stolen. The victim, a man aged in his 40s, was at the Goodwood Boat Ramp on Balbuk Way when sometime between 4:00am and 4:30am three people approached him. One member of the group was in possession of a firearm and the victim’s white Toyota Hilux was stolen. The group left the area in the Toyota Hilux and a black four-door hatch...back vehicle.
