Almost 95% of their food products are sourced from local suppliers and businesses. During COVID-19, they offered heavy discounts to menu favourites. Mandurah Taxis provides 24/7 on-demand capped price transport, including wheelchair accessible transport, ensuring everyone access to important healthcare, pharmacies and shops. During the COVID-19 lockdown, they continued to operate and sanitised their vehicles. Warmun Art Centre has launched an online art shop and web-cart in 2019-2020. The online sales strategy saw Warmun Art Centre gross over $850,000 in total artwork sales and increase the number of artists engaged by 35%. Willie Creek Pearls operates across six industries: tourism, retail, commercial pearling, manufacture, jewellery and hospitality. The company has 84 locals employed during 2019 peak season. 02.01.2022 Our teachers in WA play a huge role in both the lives of their students and within their local community. Here are four Finalists who inspire students of all ages: Donna Goodman is an On-Country Trainer at the Aboriginal Biodiversity Conservation Foundation Ltd. She designed and implemented On-Country Education programmes, framework and resources. Helena Nicholson is a Digital Technology teacher Year 1-6. She has developed and led initiatives in sustainability education, ...the Arts, and STEM education. Miriam Ifould has been actively involved in organising the yearly NAIDOC Day of Celebration since working at Edmund Rice College. She has developed resources to allow teachers to integrate Aboriginal studies across the curriculum. Rielle Fowler brought online, the paper-based Field Days Activity Trail, a student-centred guide to the Dowerin, using QR Codes at each site.
