22.01.2022 What a great evening we had at the track tonight The highlight was definitely Heat 4 of the 400m HCP series, with no less than 12 entrants. There was an overall tie for the Series winner with Dave Talbot and Juan Perez both on 23 points, unfortunately for Juan, Dave won on a count back and Lindsay Oxenham took third place. Congratulations Dave!

20.01.2022 Tonight we had our final night of the year and our Xmas break up. As many of you know, this always includes the presentation of the annual ‘DORAN MEDAL’ and this year was no different. Kelly Davidson was our very worthy recipient. The standout winner of the award, Kelly was recognised for all the love, compassion and care she showed Jimmy Sinclair towards the end of his life. Congratulations Kelly, so well deserved

16.01.2022 ***CANCELLED*** The LINDSAY THOMAS 10K MEMORIAL RUN on 20/1/21 at Braeside Park will not be going ahead. Unfortunately, due to Covid19, we were unable to begin the necessary application for permit and planning requirements by the required date. As you will know, this is an annual event hosted by Springvale Masters and we are hugely disappointed as I'm sure you are, that it will not be going ahead. Please feel free to share this information to your Masters Group .

13.01.2022 During September, we ran a virtual 800m H/C (Peter Field) with the final held during the first week of October. Alan Bennie was the winner of the final with a time of 3:14 (1.25) hcp. We were finally able to make the presentation tonight. Congratulations to Alan!

08.01.2022 Such a fun night tonight at Springvale Masters lots of laughs and great attendance. Just like the old days. Quite a surprise for both us (and him), when Dave Baxter bagged 1st place in Heat 3 of the 400 h/c in his first ever 400m run. Good running Dave. A few photos of the evening.

04.01.2022 We are deeply saddened today to hear of the loss of our good friend Jimmy Sinclair who passed away peacefully this morning. Still competing well in to his 90’s Jimmy was an true inspiration to all and a champion in every sense of the word. A great clubman he was loved by all who knew him and he will be sadly missed by all his friends at Springvale Masters. RIP Jimmy

03.01.2022 What a fabulous night last night for our ‘estimated time of any 3 events’ evening. Thirty two people arrived which had not been seen since March. We needed four heats of the 70m and two heats of the 400m. Troy Jeff’s was our estimated time winner.

03.01.2022 What a superb turnout for our return to the track. So many happy faces and lots of catching up to be done. A great time was had by all .
