02.01.2022 REMINDER AGM TONIGHT!!

02.01.2022 It is with great sadness that we acknowledge the passing of a highly respected local and Wombats Life Member Alfie Hancock this week. Alfie has been part of the Wombat family since the early 1950’s. From his playing days which ended in Moree as a 40 year old he moved onto the committee and into the sheds for rub downs before manning the gate and selling raffles. Alfie remained on and around the committee until 2008, he was an extroadinary clubman who devoted his life to the ...fiery Red and Blacks. Alf has been a very active and loved member of our great community, a devoted family member, who will be greatly missed. The Warialda RLFC would like to extend our warmest sympathy and condolences to the Hancock family at this sadden time. Rest peacefully Alf
