21.01.2022 LANCEFIELD FARMERS MARKET BACK ON AFTER VENUE STOUSH Lancefield Farmers Market has secured a new venue, saving it from potential permanent closure. The market w...ill now be held at Romsey Community Sports Oval after organisers were told they could no longer hold it at Lancefield Park. The Park Committee recently objected to the market being held in Lancefield over Coronavirus concerns, and COVID-19 restrictions prevented it being held on the town's median strip. Christiana Plitzco is from community group 'Friends of Lancefield Farmers Market'. She says it's a relief that the market can go ahead, since communication with the Park Committee had broken down. "They eventually contacted me and asked us to put in another proposal which we did straight away," she said. "They were very aware that we had a deadline by the early morning on friday, but we never heard from them again." Ms Plitzco said. Ms Plitzco says they're extremely grateful to the Romsey Region Business and Tourism Association for the use of the oval. The ABC has made multiple attempts to contact the Lancefield Park Committee for comment, but has been unsuccessful.

07.01.2022 Yesterday was International Dog Day - and for us here it will now be remembered as Milly’s last day She was Allen’s legs and his loyal sidekick, just lovingly looking at him and never far away.
