25.01.2022 Pretty sure that this little fella is an Eastern Banjo frog or also called a Pobblebonk. We had to fish him out of the pool and move him to our pond system so he doesn’t die.

15.01.2022 Horses helping to manage "yucky" feelings *posted with client permission A lot of people will have seen the drawing where the blue horse helps the girl to regulate, so perceptively illustrated by the talented Cheval ta race.... I showed that illustration to someone who wanted to draw their own, demonstrating how the horses can help people process "yucky" feelings - in this case through the horse's outbreath and farting . Although the majority of our Nguud Mabarn (Horse Medicine) Equine Assisted Psychotherapy service is done on the ground, the illustration was a wonderful example of horses supporting people by demonstrating good emotional regulation behaviours / tool kits. It is wonderful that permission was given to share, as I think that both illustrations: Cheval ta Race and the client were very perceptive and may help other people. Ps: thank you to Cheval ta Race for permission to use their artwork also.

15.01.2022 This is our online booking system! Feedback from people was that our google calendar booking system was difficult to use and view. Guess what? We've implemented a brand new booking system through Jane App. You can book yourself or for the first one I can help you. There are some things we are still ironing out, so I'm hoping that you will be patient with us while we do that. By today, you should be able to do your Risk Liability Waiver online for any horse related service yo...u access. This is to make it all easy peasy once you do the initial registration. Some of you that already have current bookings would have been receiving information from me. One little hiccup is it is only listing Lower Hermitage as a place to have our session, not our agreed places. Just ignore that bit until I get it fixed. Thanks for your patience. Please note that you will only be able to view the calendar 3 months in advance. If you like a date further in the future, please contact me. Also, if your service is outside of the advertised hours, time length or a customised service, please contact me and I will do the behind the scenes working out for you. ****PLEASE BE ADVISED***** Due to COVID-19 all counselling / transformational coaching sessions will be conducted via our online therapy video link. Please select the relevant service as online therapy when you book. We are still delivering our equestrian services face to face. Thank you, Bianca http://www.warida.com.au/book-online/ https://waridaww.janeapp.com.au//warida-wholistic-wel/book

15.01.2022 One day you will wake up and there wont be any more time to do the things youve always wanted. Do it now. - Paulo Coelho What thing / experience / conversation are you putting off doing?

14.01.2022 A busy, but lovely and calm day of Nguud Mabarn (Horse Medicine) Equine Assisted Psychotherapy sessions. Our Crystalea Kelpies pup, Flint, is growing up beautifully. Our Outback Canines dog, Archie, is modelling excellent doggy manners and who Flint shadows . Old man, Cannon, does more sleeping now and leaves the paddock stuff to the young men. Glorious day.

Here is one of our testimonials from Sue from the UK: The online course offered by Bianca Stawiarski from Warida wholistic wellness made me completely change the way I think about myself. Despite not looking back (because its a can of worms and I didnt want to go there) but looking forward, I have learned to value, like and love myself. This has lifted my self-esteem, which has resulted in a more confident and assertive me and I like it! I found Bianca professional yet approachable. Personally, I am more confident, content and aware of my needs and how they fit in with other people in my life. Im happier to say no in a constructive manner, happier to do things for myself and find a balance so I continue to help others without jeopardising my needs". 14.01.2022 Lambert and Barley (2001) state that "factors that influence client outcome can be divided into four areas: extra-therapeutic factors, expectancy effects, specific therapy techniques, and common factors. Common factors such as empathy, warmth, and the therapeutic relationship have been shown to correlate more highly with client outcome than specialised treatments. ....... Decades of research indicate that the provision of therapy is an interpersonal process in which a main curative component is the nature of the therapeutic relationship. Clinicians must remember that this is the foundation of our efforts to help others". The healing relationship is so critical, which is why I was blown away to receive this testimonial and insight from a clients perspective about the work that I do.

14.01.2022 Such variety in service delivery today! From phone, to room-based to bush therapy, to equine assisted therapy and then zoom. This little man snuck up on us during our session. We may have to nickname him curious George .

13.01.2022 In Japan, forest therapy or forest medicine is called "shinrin-yoku" which simply means forest bathing. The Japanese have dedicated decades of empirical research to explore the health benefits of being in forests. In Australia we sometimes call it Bush Therapy or Eco therapy. There are incredible health benefits, positive mental health, connection and improved wellbeing. Working with a mental health therapist may further your positive wellbeing benefits. Bush therapy is di...fferent to what we call connection to Country. This photo is from gorgeous Palawa country (Iutruwita - Tasmania). What are you doing to prioritise forest / bush connection?

13.01.2022 Such variety today showcasing our services! Weve gone from Bush therapy in the morning to online trauma informed counselling & online transformational coaching, to equine assisted / animal assisted Psychotherapy sessions this afternoon. Absolutely honoured to be trusted to support each clients healing journey. ...

09.01.2022 Often, we are asked why our prices are so high when it comes to cultural works. The simple answer is this, for many years, decades and generations, our performers and artists have underestimated the worth of their work and undercharged accordingly. This reflects times when we were taught that our culture was worthless, our people less than others, our ways considered wrong and primitive. Those times have now past, we grow strong again and with this strength we remember who we... are, we value our culture and we know its worth. We are a unique people with unlimited knowledge of this Earth, a knowledge that is, and will be, desperately needed in times to come when the modern, advanced world has cut down all our trees, polluted all our water ways and poisoned all our food sources. This knowledge is more valuable that all the gold, precious stones and money in the world. Rocks and stones and plastic cannot feed you, they cannot buy fresh food and water if it no longer exists. Our knowledge can bring the rains, it can work with Mother Earth and the Spirits of this land to bring balance and we can live as one again the way it should be. This is done through our connection to them in ceremony, through dance and performance, through teaching and understanding our ways. Charge your worth and what you know what you bring to the table and walk away if they dont value it quote from Wakagetti Indigenous Corporation

09.01.2022 Wadjari Country, almost Badimaya country

08.01.2022 The next photo in our Badimaya language series. Thanks to Edoardo Crismani for taking this absolutely awesome photo of Dozer and I laughing together. :)

07.01.2022 Yesterday our Warida horses / pony were snapped taking a herd nap. It was so cute that we had to post as it completely represented a 'quiet moment doing nothing'. Are you allocating some quiet time and if so, what does that look like?

07.01.2022 Oh I soooo want to visit this gorgeous knowledge keeper.

07.01.2022 A windy, glorious but calm energy this morning during Nguud Mabarn Equine Assisted Psychotherapy sessions.

06.01.2022 We have had a couple of enormous days over the last two days here at Warida Wholistic Wellness. Yesterday, part of Youth Inc’s graduating class and some of their staff spent time here connecting with country and eating bushfoods. Hugest thanks to Savannah for her deadly kangaroo stew. Today, our Managing Director Bianca, been writing in between seeing individual clients. ...

05.01.2022 Spring is a time of new beginnings, new possibilities...... What quality would you like to grow this spring? - Tara Killen There we have it .... Spring is here and the time for excuses is over (myself included). I issue you with a wellbeing challenge! What can you do, within your capacity, to improve how you feel? It can be an inner change or an outward change. Firstly lets start with setting 1-2 S.M.A.R.T. goals on what you would like to implement. Realistic & measurab...le goals are the key to achieving anything! This is for you to decide rather than be swayed by others. Some suggestions may be: * spending 5 mins a day in connection with the incredible, diverse and deep energies of the country / place that you live in or maybe are from. * committing to eating more healthily. * start and maintain a realistic and achievable exercise approach. * take 3-10 mins a day to meditate * spend 5-10 mins a day reflecting on 2 positive qualities and then build it from there. * commit to that personal development coaching program youve been looking at (we have a truly transformative one called Renew you, Love your Life). * or anything else that you want to implement a behavioural change with. How about we hold each other accountable, including myself, in the kindest way. Ill start the ball rolling! My SMART goal is: To have a consistent daily holistic healthy behavioural routine that contributes to the outer me being a reflection of the strong and fit machine I am mentally. This holistic routine is to include: *achieving a daily 10,000 step count. *achieving a daily 10 min meditation *eating healthily & keeping calorie intake below 1300 per day. * spend 10 mins daily practicing Badimaya language This daily holistic healthy behavioural routine is to be consistently established by 30 Nov 2020. So, what is your SMART Goal?? S - specific M - measurable A - achievable R- realistic T - time bound.

05.01.2022 Thanks Dean from The Path of the Horse for sharing this. I love Tristans statement regarding people knowing him from his past, and wanting to introduce people to who he is now. How many times do we judge or are we judged by actions of the past as though that is who they are / or who we are today?

04.01.2022 Love her statement, History, despite its wrenching pain, cannot be unlived, but if faced with courage, need not be lived again.

04.01.2022 Big day today with clients.

03.01.2022 An absolutely fantastic way to look at why its important to help and support each other and pull together as empowered communities. Footnote - please dont take this literally - Im in no way saying some people are inferior as mentioned in the wheat story.

02.01.2022 Self care Sunday!! Sundayss are usually a crazy busy time for me with clients. Today I set aside time for officiating at a state vaulting comp which got cancelled. So I used the time effectively by riding the horses, hanging with my man (who is a non-rider) and this arvo going for an energy healing. Love, love self care

02.01.2022 Resma Menakem talks about this in My Grandmother’s Hands. Get yourself a copy of the book or the audiobook.

01.01.2022 Although I wish there was never a need for a book on this subject any where in the world, Im actually looking forward to reading this. Alison Miller wrote this for therapists to assist clients. Im thinking that I almost need a months paid professional development leave to read all the powerful books I have on my to read pile on my bedside table.

01.01.2022 A few weeks ago, I completed Australian Online Therapy Australias Advanced Level 2 Online therapy course.
