However they move on to a big week with games against Albion Park and Woonona coming up over the next 2 Sundays, with a catch up game against Wollongong United squeezed in on Wednesday night. Womens matches Sunday 30th @ Albion Park 2pm... Wednesday 2nd @ Wollongong United 7pm Sunday 6th vs Woonona 2pm If you get the chance come down and support the girls. 03.01.2022 2021 COACHING ANNOUNCEMENT Warilla Wanderers Football Club would like to announce the appointment of Willy Alarcon as Head Coach for the 2021 Football South Coast District League Season. Willy comes back to the club with a wealth of playing and coaching experience. Having played at the club in both Premier League and District League, culminating in the 2013 District League Grand Final, Willy then joined the coaching ranks as our Youth Grade Coach. Shortly thereafter he join...ed Coniston and oversaw their return to District League from Community League as First Grade Coach. After 1 season back in District League as Head Coach, Will returned to the Youth Grade coaching role, leading his team to League and GF Success in 2018. WIlly will bring Passion, Dedication and Commitment to the role of Head Coach, with an immediate vision to return the club to its former glory, after a difficult COVID-19 Season. The Club look forward to working with Willy. Pre Season trial and training dates will be advised in the near future. The Club would also like to take this opportunity to thank outgoing Head Coach Nathan Pegler for the hard work and support he has given the club over a number of years as player and coach. Nathan has steered the club through the transition period of Coaching Legend Barney King and a stop start COVID-19 season. With family commitments playing a part in his decision, Nathan decided that now was the right time for him to step back and pass on the torch. We wish Nathan, Tara, Taylah and Lochie all the best in the future, and can't wait to catch up off the field in 2021
