24.01.2022 Little Abby in 2013

23.01.2022 A Working Snoot update: They are all going great and living their best life. My favourite boy in the back of the ute. I'm looking forward to hearing how he goes in the yards in October.

22.01.2022 Spending some one on one time with Promite yesterday. There's zero chance of seeing a train on this decommissioned track, so it is 100% safe to walk. A very long dark tunnel is a good test of temperament.

22.01.2022 Kitty enrichment... birds and squirrels for hours

19.01.2022 I forgot to post an update on Jager. He goes to work at the vet clinic with his owner and I believe sucks the other nurses into sharing their lunch. It's a tough life, working and cuddling

18.01.2022 Our LittleMan is the funniest dog on the planet. Spends much of his time being chased by the cats. Currently spending his days with the goat (new best friend) and when he's not doing that he's surveying his domain. Like his father he is a great breed ambassador. Nothing much worries him.

18.01.2022 5 weeks today. We are over the hump and on the count down to babies

18.01.2022 Don't worry Tag, being pregnant made me feel sad too She's fine now she's taking up prime real estate on my bed.

17.01.2022 Week 4 A scan at the end of this week and finalising our waiting list.

17.01.2022 Willow update: Willow is from Tag's first litter and belongs to a lovely friend of mine, who is doing a great job with her. We hope to one day see her being shown.

17.01.2022 I cry almost every time I see her. Indi is so much like her mother Sess. Pretty, quirky, talks like her and sulks like her

15.01.2022 My beautiful Tag on this day in 2018. She's gorgeous, smart, steady under the shot gun and I adore her.

14.01.2022 Food for thought when it comes to feeding your dog.

14.01.2022 Well technically not week 3 until tomorrow but I couldn't wait another day to take more pics

13.01.2022 Sess... always the optomist The fire should be on

13.01.2022 Some simple enrichment this afternoon, two cardboard boxes and some large kefir and fruit iceblocks. They have experienced neither of these things until now.

13.01.2022 6 weeks today. Still running around like a mad thing. Great appetite , full of energy and looking fabulous.

12.01.2022 Avril being annoying because she wants a seat. Avril tastes sweet victory

12.01.2022 The sun is out but fatty would rather lay on the lounge with a heated throw.

12.01.2022 Kitty enrichment part two:

11.01.2022 We 100% have babies on board. I will be in touch with everyone who has expressed an interest over the weekend, either via email or message.

11.01.2022 Excuse the long grass (warm winter, too much rain and sunshine) I had the pleasure of spending some time with a fellow ANKC breeder who breeds Labs for therapy and other roles and touring her puppy runs. I was able to pick her brain and come home with ideas on how I could improve my future litters early sensory experiences. It has been fun creating. It still needs some sand, another mat and a good hose down but the yard is pretty much done. If all goes well I'll extend on t...his and put in permanent fences and features. Our goat was foreman and the big girls road tested for me. Tag showed a suitable level of pregnancy disinterest. See more

11.01.2022 Ted's turn today. He is growing into a handsome boy. Don't tell anyone but Ted was my favourite.

10.01.2022 Fatty laying on the lounge last night. She is due around the 18th of October

10.01.2022 We will begin taking applications and names for the planned 2021 litters after Easter. These are likely to be high drive, active puppies unsuitable for apartment living. These will be Promite & Joey litters. Tag has been removed from our breeding program due to an issue with retained testicles. But before all this happens , Covid permitting we will have some fun Lure Coursing and judging interstate.

10.01.2022 Covid could go on for some time. I've shared this before but it's still relevant

09.01.2022 A quick note as to why I have been busy of late and probably not answering messages as soon as I would normally. You may or may not be aware that anyone who breeds a dog or cat in NSW is subject to the Animal Welfare Code of Practice - Breeding Dogs and Cats ( I have attached a link below for those who wish to read further) In a nutshull, I've been busy this past month assessing what I do here against the Code of Practice, recording it and ensuring that I meet the standards. ...I believe I comply with all of the standards and can demonstrate best practice when it comes to the guidelines. The DPI is currently using the RSPCA NSW to audit breeders and ensure they are complying with the Code. I am yet to be audited but I am expecting it will be done and welcome the opportunity to show the auditors what I do here and for them to see my happy healthy dogs. The Code was developed in order to provide a minimum standard of care for all breeding dogs and cats. Whilst it is primarily geared to large scale commercial enterprises, all breeders in NSW are subject to it. If anyone has any questions regarding my compliance please contact me. I hope to be back on track answering messages in a timely manner and responding to your enquiries. https://www.dpi.nsw.gov.au//codes-o/breeding-dogs-and-cats

09.01.2022 On this day in 2013

09.01.2022 I think she might be pregnant It's going to be a long 5 weeks

08.01.2022 A Dotti update. She's a sweet girl.

06.01.2022 Whoops, I forgot to put out my usual reminder. Change of season is time to give your Whippet an all wormer.

06.01.2022 The pics didn't upload. Excuse the dirt, we tracked it everywhere.

05.01.2022 Dogs were bred to do a job. Know and understand your breed's history and function. Embrace it, work with it, enjoy it. Don't expect to change it.

05.01.2022 Avril update: Avril is Tag and Vivian's litter sister. She has herself some new lambs to look after.

05.01.2022 Week 6: I swear my cause of death will be head knock when I trip over my boot laces. If it wasn't so hot I would wear my gumboots in the yard.

04.01.2022 Time for a Wallace update. He was a favourite of mine from Tag's first litter and he's living up to expectations . He's a handsome terror.

04.01.2022 For those in NSW, Lure Coursing is soon to commence for 2021 If you are interested in trying out and seeing if your dog potentially likes the sport, please refer to the link below. Your dog needs to be over 6 months of age and physically sound to try out and a minimum of 15 months of age to compete.... https://www.nswlca.com.au/try-out-days.html

03.01.2022 Day 43: Please enjoy the 30 seconds of nothing but the clock ticking

03.01.2022 The sandpit was popular this evening

02.01.2022 The Whippets are asleep by the fire. One cat behind the fire, the other on the lounge. It's too cold for goat to do goaty things, so she's inside in the warm too.

01.01.2022 On this day in 2011: Me: Poodie what are you doing ? Poodie: Dusty said he wanted to be like magic, so now he has a cape Me: Hmmm Ok.. Dusty you poor bastard LOL
