06.01.2022 Hi everyone i just got told about all the talk about the Disabled toilet cubicle that has been put in place as a temporary measure let me shead some light on it...it has been agreed by the Foreshore committee to place it there for a few reasons 1. With the works on the yatch club... access has been blocked from the path and is a oh&s issue to walk on the road. 2. We dont have a disable toilet in town as we have a disabled carpark next to where it is placed i would not see a...nyone objecting to service the needs of our disabled . 3. Placement of toilet .... is central to everything and we cannot have people walking through the carpark ie (children) it has too many hazards it is our duty of care. 4. As for being too close to playground city of casey put toilets near or next to playground in most parks. 5 As i have agreed to maintain the toilet till i close for winter or till we can get a commitment from the council to get there cleaners to maintain it due to works from the city of Casey to the yacht club for the next 6 months pumping of waste and hire is paid by the Foreshore Committee of Managment Kind regards Alan See more

02.01.2022 Good morning Guys GREAT NEWS we have finally got the permits completed all the boxes ticked and the final ok to start building our CLEANING TABLES thanks to Fis...heries for the grant this comes from our licence fees and the Warneet fishing club for all there hard work with on going applications over the past 14 months thanks to Clinton for coming down and leveling up and building a rock retainer wall great job we will be starting Monday on the slab setup and will keep you up to date on the progress. As it's being done by volunteer tradesmen and fishermen to keep the cost down we hope to have enough money left to finish off the area and make it look good. We have 2 cleaning tables going in on a 6 meter square slab with a roof over each and there will be running water and fish waste bins provided by the City of Casey bins will be in place for the start of the new season on 1st September the tables will be located in the rear car park at Crouch's inlet to keep ramp area clear for launching and retreving. Also we will be installing another camera for the rear car park and cleaning tables then all areas will be completely covered and recorded for security of cleaning tables and your cars and trailers. And the last thing these are our cleaning tables for all to use please leave them clean and tidy for the next fisherman. Cheers Al See more
