13.01.2022 WOWW is on a podcast! I was interviewed this week by The Grown-Up Girls Report a podcast and blog created by Alex Merton-McCann for busy multi-tasking women. We chat about the problem with plastic and discuss the WOWW approach of moving towards Zero Waste gradually by making small changes, a week at a time. I share the action plan and mindset that’s helped my family go from average to eco without feeling overwhelmed.... FOLLOW THE LINK TO LISTEN to The Grown-Up Girls Report Podcast Episode 28 - How To Reduce Waste On Week At A Time There’s also a blog there too on my Zero Waste tips! https://thegrownupgirlsreport.com.au//episode-28-how-to-r/

12.01.2022 NEW BLOG ON WOWW: @ccfashionpack Slow Fashion advocate JULIA HENRY on living life under extreme Lockdown in Singapore. While we’re all busy breathing a tentative sigh of relief in Australia that we’ve dodged the Covid bullet so far there are plenty of places around the world that haven’t been so lucky. Julia Henry and her Australian family relocated from the Central Coast in New South Wales to Singapore six months ago for what they thought would be an exciting horizon exp...anding adventure. Instead, they got more than they bargained for ending up foreigners in a strange new land where their lives are controlled completely by extreme restrictions and a virus that’s still running amok. Julia, the cofounder of Slow Fashion Insta blog @ccfashionpack (Central Coast Fashion Pack), is a passionate advocate for sustainable fashion and the #whomademyclothes movement. We catch up with her to chat about her slow and authentic take on Instagram fashion and find out how her New Normal is treating her. 09.01.2022 It was great to pop in to @catandcow.coffee this morning, my favourite Zero Waste cafe. Cat & Cow are proving it’s still possible to be Zero Waste during the pandemic. It was awesome to see the effort they’ve put in to pivot their business to adapt to the challenges of operating a cafe during Covid-19 Days! They’re still accepting reusable cups for takeaway, running two cup swap schemes and offering reusable jars for breakfast options. How fabulous is that?! Owners Lenka ...and Jakub still have smiles on their friendly faces and are providing a much needed boost to community morale by staying open and staying safe. You can pick up delicious food and beverages from Cat & Cow between 8am-12pm daily. They offer contactless pick up and you can even place your order online before you come with the @heyyou.app Don’t forget to pick up some of my WOWW Zero Waste Soap while you are there! It’s handmade locally by me and is plastic and palm-oil free. #woww #waronwasteweekly #waronwasteaustralia #waronwaste #zerowaste #zerowasteaustralia #zerowastecafe #catandcowcoffee #wowwzerowastesoap #sustainablecafesydney #staysafe #coviddays #reducereuserecycle
