18.01.2022 Do you want to ride with some friends ..... Do you want to improve your riding in a safe enclosed arena ..... Do you have an event coming up & need some extra time in the saddle........ if so we have the answer! WEC will be hiring the grounds very soon so we will be advertising on this page how the new and convenient hire format will work and the varying fees. With the weather getting warmer & more daylight hours why not come along and use our wonderful facilities we have... to share. More info to come !

15.01.2022 We would like announce and present to everyone our new WEC logo. We can’t wait to use this new design on things like: New Entry Signage to the grounds Stationery & Correspondence ... Merchandise Advertising & Promotion General recognition of our grounds We would like to take this opportunity also to let our members of the Clubs know the WEC committee are working consistently on developing and improving our grounds and look forward to keeping you updated.

More shade tree planting (considering stock on the grounds and general spectator shade) Feature tree planting in progress from recent successful grant New wheelbarrows & equipment for ease of manure removal after events / stall use Working on spectator seating around the grounds Incoming loads of dirt to improve outer area of the grounds Fundraising event in the planning stages (later in the year) to further improve projects we have on the table New roller blind in the kitchen to reduce glare and privacy Rubbish removal & tidy up of some areas on the grounds to make our surroundings safe and pleasant Grant(s) awaiting replies and some new ones in research stage ......... and much more! We can all assist and make the grounds a fun and well equipped facility to ride at!

After our AGM (approx 6:30) we will be working on & updating our Strategic Plan so we welcome all ideas and contributions to this & the future facilities of our grounds. 07.01.2022 We would like to announce we have been successful in some grant funding from the Forest Products Commission for a tree project at the WEC grounds. We have the trees on order and can’t wait to show everyone what we have planned / designed to put these funds to the best possible use. 05.01.2022 Check out our new arena at the grounds!! First day in use and how good does it look. Warren Pony Club had Day 1 of their 2 day rally in the new arena and from all reports it passed the test! ... Thanks again to all those that made it happen!

05.01.2022 We have some fantastic news to share. Thanks to Bannister Downs and their Hand in Hand Project we have been successful in acquiring some funding which we cannot wait to use to further enhance our grounds at WEC. We thank Matt & Sue Daubney and all involved at Bannister Downs for this opportunity and thank them for assisting local clubs like us in our pursuits so we can share with the community.... We will post some photos in due course where these funds will go!

04.01.2022 Our volunteers are pretty blooming amazing!! Thank you to Adam, Brad, Bruce, Mal & Scott for finishing our new 60x20 arena today, it looks fantastic Also, a massive thank you to Brad from BM Rural for the use of machinery and gear to put the arena up. ... Another excellent addition to our facilities Arena has been built with Horserail Australia black rail

02.01.2022 WEC are having a busy bee on Friday 11 December starting 4:30pm We hope that all members from the Warren Pony Club & Southern Forests Campdraft can come along and lend a hand only for a few hours to help tidy up a few areas of the grounds. Afterwards we will be having a casual Sundowner to reward & reflect on the past year. ... We hope you can come along & your club will remind you closer to the time also.

02.01.2022 Our 60x20 arena at WEC coming along nicely thanks to our hardworking team of volunteers. Some final welding being done this weekend and soon the posts and strapping will be up. Exciting times....
