03.01.2022 John Prescott In case you weren't aware. The electorate of Toohey stretches all the way to Eight Mile Plains. You seem to be ignorant of the fact that school zones stretch over electorate boundaries. To help you out, I have included a couple of maps to help you find your way around the electorate. Also to show how residents of Toohey are included in both Rochedale High School and Rochedale Primary School zones. So I am pretty sure voters of Toohey would be appreciative of the... fact that I have for years trying to make it safer for their children to go to school. Did you even read the articles, I managed to get $14M of federal funding for a roundabout as an ordinary citizen. I did this as while waiting at the school gate to make sure my children got home safely I saw lots of near misses and children almost getting hit. It was because I went to my Labor MP and asked for help and saw nothing being done that I decided to run for parliament. If I got $14M as an ordinary person, imagine what I will achieve as a member of Parliament for the great Citizens of Toohey. Thank you for pointing this out to them. So John Prescott it was because of where my children went to school, not where I live that Toohey Residents, along with Mansfield, Waterford and Springwood residents will have faster and safer access to the schools in this area. Because Labor MPs in all these electorates did nothing while children were placed in danger everyday. Why hadn't Peter Russo MP done anything about this over the past two terms in Government? Please get your facts straight before you criticise me next time.
