19.01.2022 And so brings the end of the first ever External Exams under the new QCE for Year 12 students. With 32 exams across 27 sessions for 24 separate subjects in 17 days, it has been a major undertaking. Congratulations to the Year 12 cohort for 2020, you have demonstrated an enormous amount of effort and dedication to these exams and we await the results, which will be released to students from QCAA on December 19 at 9:00am. Year 12 teachers and support staff should also take grea...t pride in the way you have taught to a new curriculum and in some cases, new subjects, in a year that has been full of challenges. Students have been calm and well prepared for each exam in what has been an experience that is new to us all. Now bring on the celebratory events of Graduation tomorrow, Final Whole School Assembly and Formal on Thursday and the farewell breakfast on Friday. Mr Cory Wren Head of Senior Secondary

18.01.2022 Did you know that our school song is 91 years old this year? It was composed by a past teacher, Miss E. Miriam Jones, and published in the 1929 'Condaminian' at the request of the Principal Mr R C Hamilton. Miss Jones was a widely skilled teacher, having graduated from Queensland University with first-class honours in Classics - a very brilliant achievement at the time. In addition to her class work, she also played an important part in many extra curricula activities within... the school - such as coaching the girl's hockey team, teaching eurhythmics and folk dances, coaching singing groups, as well as being the supervising teacher for the 'Condaminian". Miss Jones left Warwick High at the end of 1929 to take up the prestigious position of Senior Classics Mistress at the Brisbane Girl's Grammar School. The song she composed is still proudly sung during all Whole School Assemblies and major functions to this day!
