24.01.2022 It’s WASCA Wednesday! This Wednesday, we share a great event at Pearsall Primary School. The Green Team host an annual Build a Bun Day, a free event for students with support from the local IGA Pearsall. The students had a great time building their own lunch, thanks to IGA who kindly donated the buns and the school purchased fresh fillings including sliced ham, turkey, lettuce, carrot, tomato, cucumber and capsicum.The Green Team at Pearsall PS is led by teacher Stephanie Benjamin, who is also WASCA Executive Committee Treasurer. Well done Steph!

20.01.2022 Congratulations to Dalmain PS on receiving a $1,000 Robin Bromley Visionary Grant. Our Project Officer Leanne and Ash Ahluwalia from Brownes Dairy had the pleasure of presenting Canteen Supervisor Barbie Connick, with the award at the school assembly. The canteen is planning to a counter top display fridge and a multi-cooker with their grant money. Fantastic!

15.01.2022 Its WASCA Wednesday! This Wednesday, we welcome Carla, a new Project Officer to the WASCA team. Carla has a Masters of Dietetics and has experience working with a major sport code and remote Aboriginal communities addressing nutritional issues as well as menu planning. She loves cooking and learning traditional Italian recipes with her Nonna, and is always up for trying new foods and cuisines.
