25.01.2022 We don't get a lot of these Omega 1342 in for service anymore - given the age and lack of electronic parts available now. I could easily focus on the negatives - for example the fact that they were designed for a 1.3V mercury battery (which they don't make anymore for obvious reasons!) But taking into consideration that this electronic circuit is still going strong after an almost non stop 40 years of pulsing every second, it's really not done too badly. 17.01.2022 Well I'm not sure how this one snuck into my services. 1990's Seiko 7T32-7G90 quartz alarm chronograph. The relatively unassuming exterior hides a sea of wheels and (very discontinued) electronic components. It is for this reason that a lot of watchmakers won't go near one.
