25.01.2022 Good evening, this is an update for our school community regarding the Royal National Park Bushfire. The RFS and the Department of Education have communicated with us regarding the bushfire in the Royal National Park. At this stage, the fire has been controlled and the RFS has advised there is no risk to Waterfall Public School and the school will be operational tomorrow. ... We remind students who may be affected by smoke to bring their puffers to school. If heavy smoke is experienced, we will remain inside throughout the day. We will continue to monitor the fire situation overnight and will notify you immediately on Facebook, if the situation changes the schools ability to operate. On behalf of the staff and students, I sincerely thank our many parents and family members volunteering with the RFS and SES in this current event. Penelope Passmore, Principal
