08.01.2022 A beautiful day at Mullinmur Wetland in Wangaratta with Sarah Ning from the Murray Darling Wetlands Working Group (MDWWG) discussing the importance of appropria...tely managed wetlands in our landscape. This was followed by a workshop to gather ideas for the management of the site, educational opportunities and visitor infrastructure. The North East CMA have engaged the MDWWG to develop a Management Plan for the site to guide management actions for ecological outcomes, as well as looking for educational opportunities for schools and the community to get involved in environmental management activities, which Wangaratta Sustainability Network and Borinya have already been actively exploring.
