23.01.2022 Camp ready and carefree - this 300W Solar panel system with MPPT Solar controller gets maximum efficiency from the solar panels. Its entirely capable of inputting 20amps into your battery which is equivalent to most DC/DC chargers. Using a 350W Redarc inverter, this set up ran a sleep apnoea machine for 3 days while camping. It also features remote monitoring using an App on a mobile phone.

18.01.2022 Air Conditioning Show n Tell today This bottle of what appears to be a kale health supplement drink is actually a flushed out A/C system that had suffered a damaged compressor. The system became contaminated with shards of metal (look closely and youll see the fragments swirling around). The only way to save this from total replacement is thorough and multiple flushings. No chunky bits allowed. Have a great weekend!

We also fitted worklights to the centre of the spare wheels (see photos) which can be easily removed when needed. Ready for work, ready for play.

16.01.2022 So it seems as we enter the final week of full-scale workshop operation prior to Christmas, its time to send out our thoughts and Christmas wishes to all our customers and friends who have entrusted us to work on their vehicles this year. As I signed off last year we were all hot and exhausted from a hot start to summer, unlike this year where some of us spent the first couple of days of summer in a heated jacket and scarf (I kid you not). However, we are all definitely lo...oking forward to a bit of time away to spend with family and friends after another busy year here with our small crew. Again, its our great customers and awesome suppliers who help to make our place a thriving little workshop. We get to know many new faces each year and we also continue to work along side others we have known for years. We have shared many stories, laughs and theories with our customers again this year and these relationships just help make our business a great place to work. So thank you to all of our customers, both newbies and regulars and also our valued suppliers - we hope you all have a very Merry Christmas and happy and safe holiday season. 15.01.2022 Happy New Year to all - we are back up and running on full steam again as we enter 2020. Its been a confronting end to 2019 and beginning of the new year due to the terrible fires that have affected probably many of you or at least someone we/you know. To say those fire fighters are doing an incredible job is an understatement. Its also heartwarming to see so many people (worldwide) supporting however they can - humanity is alive and well. 13.01.2022 "My A/C is not working, its just out of gas" is a common misconception... and in this case a blocked orifice tube (refer Exhibit A in pic) lured us into this same thought. The A/C system in your car is a very complex roadmap of hoses, filters and small parts. Exhibit B (again, refer pic) is what an orifice tube should look like and if it doesnt, your A/C will not being doing its thing!

Presently we are business as (almost) usual. But what we dont stock is a confusing variety of them. We run with Supercharge Batteries - they are great batteries, they have a great warranty and they are a brand we trust. 03.01.2022 Easter 2020... Its going to be different. Here at Watt Works wed made plans to have a week off (pre Covid-19, which feels like a lifetime ago). So due to current circumstances and pre-made plans, we are still having our week away to enjoy some family time and, my personal favourite, Easter eggs (I hope they didnt close Cadbury!!)
