15.01.2022 In Canberra the Shine Dome (courtesy of the Australian Academy of Science), the National Carillon (courtesy of the National Capital Authority), Questacon, the Royal Australian Mint and the Ian Potter Foundation Centre lit up in shades of yellow to wish everyone in Australia a Happy Wattle Day!
13.01.2022 The Week of the Wattle inspired these new gourmet delights that would be winners all year round. Ginger Catering produced wattleseed and chocolate macaroons. Cremensugar Patisserie created the yellow mini and larger sugared macaroons with wattleseed-infused cream filling.

05.01.2022 Golden Wattle Park is a new development for the corner of South Terrace and Goodwood Road, Adelaide. For those of us familiar with the Wattle Day League history of the Dardanelles Memorial established in Adelaide in 1915 this is a new phase that will include new wattle plantings. Adelaide Lord Mayor Sandy Verschoor said, "The proposal would also see more trees planted as well as the return of the historic Wattle Grove plantation, which was first planted in 1915, and is believed to have been Australia’s earliest memorial to the Gallipoli landing.
