We have Perspex screens for manicures, disposable linen and plastic covers on the beds which are changed and cleaned before and after every client. We have sterilising stations, paper towels, face shields or masks & gloves on request. And of course our usual hygiene procedures continue as normal. We made it back after a 3 month shutdown, lost Anita for 6 months to a broken leg ( but she’ll be back), closed one salon after 32 years to find ourselves stronger than ever. This was Wax & Polish 32 years ago when @louisesobel first opened @waxandpolish (and the only photo I could find of her in front of the salon a few years later, thanks to the lack of technology) which went on to become such an institution that Im so proud to be a part of. Im so in awe of you and all youve created, and it still amazes me how hard you still work to this day. This is a BIG deal, yet you just do what n...eeds to be done, and always have. Youre what superheros are made of and I wanted to mark this emotional decision that we both know is the right one for now.
