02.01.2022 Now that we have a little ray of sunshine Lets talk Sunscreen IN foundation. Whilst it might sound handy to have your SPF built into your every day foundation the following picture shows you just HOW MUCH foundation you would need to apply to gain proper protection and coverage. Yes- something is definitely better than nothing at all but its important to remember that the best types of sun protection are physical SPF (zinc based) not chemical SPF (in general any sunscreen... with a SPF higher than 30+ is chemical based) and to gain sufficient protection against UVA + UVB rays you must ensure your skin is properly covered. So... how do you do this would looking like your wearing a full mask of foundation? Apply a seperate SPF before your makeup, like @ocosmedics Mineral Pro.
