19.01.2022 I gotta say......some of these Diamond Art projects can be absolutely stunning. This one (600x1200mm) has been matted & framed in a Tassie Oak moulding that I hand finished and added a couple coates of Bees Wax.

04.01.2022 Papyruses can be tricky & fiddly but with the right mat to use as the base & the right frame choice, they really do "pop".

03.01.2022 Just for something different to stimulate the creative juices . I was given this set of new uncirculated polymer banknotes to frame that needed to be visible from both sides. I think it worked ok.

02.01.2022 Well, I can honestly say, the diversity of the items that are brought to me to "frame" means my job is never dull. These 2 items were a Rugby top to frame & a street sign. Yep, that's correct, a street sign. Well I was asked if I could mount it with the capability to be able to flip up to be able to see both sides which had significant memories. So I I drilled a hole in to each side & attached a couple of heavy duty eyelets I found at Bunnings. I'd already cut to size, prepped & bees waxed a beautiful piece of Oregon Timber which I mounted the sign on to. It worked like a treat for its owner.....thx Bob.

01.01.2022 2 stunning pieces of Indigenous art on canvas, framed completely different to each other. The top one was stretched on to a stretcher bar only, to let the art do the talking whilst the bottom one was matted & framed with colours to complement the art but the end result for both was a draw in the "show stopper stakes" I think. What do you guys think???
