20.01.2022 And that is a wrap! Thankyou 2020 What a successful, challenging, productive, frustrating and enjoyable year but we are lucky to have had it. Thanks to AFL, AFLNSW, AFLHCC & Health Departments for working to ensure our code was able to proceed with a season of AFL. We appreciate all the advice, efforts, and sacrifice of AFL staff in the COVID environment.... Thanks to the tireless efforts of our existing Warners Bay Juniors Committee and volunteers that allowed the adoption of all the necessary COVID-19 requirements to ensure a season got off the ground, continued to proceed with everchanging demands and was completed with so many smiling faces & success both on and off the ground. To all those in our club responsible for performing all necessary roles, and the additional thankless COVID Safety roles we thankyou and appreciate your efforts. Thank our hard-working Coaches, Team Mangers & Parent Volunteers that allowed our season to happen. To see such high levels of volunteering, co-operation and dedication is a reason our club and game days can run so smoothly. Thanks to the support and great relationship from our Senior Bulldogs club. We look forward to sharing more football together next year - there are some exciting time ahead for our club! 16.01.2022 AFL Hunter Central Coast are again running the Newcastle School holiday AFL Bootcamp in 2021. The boot camp will be held on: Friday 22nd January 9am-1pm at Feighan Park, Warners Bay... The camp will be run by AFL NSWACT Game Development & Academy of Sport Coaching Staff and includes the following: - fitness testing - strength & conditioning session - reflex & agility session - kicking masterclass - discussion re pre-season training etc - skill development rotations - game sense activities As we are running both a boys & girls camp places are limited. Please follow the registration process on the flyer. The first 40 to register at each venue will be guaranteed a position.

02.01.2022 After COVID-19 ended the plans that were in place at the beginning of the year in regards to Representative squads, the Hunter Academy of Sport (HAS) and AFL Hunter Central Coast’ (AFLHCC) shared a philosophy in nurturing talent in the region and to provide a pre-elite support service to the region’s top athletes A Summer Talent Training Program. With this in mind, a Team of the Year from the Hunter region has been invited to take up an opportunity in a summer training sq...uad running November 2020 April 2021. These squads train with the aim to achieve a place in the high-performance pathways feeding into the Swans Academies and also the AFLNSWACT state teams. We are thrilled that many of Bulldogs Juniors have been named in the Team of the Year Squads. 01.01.2022 The Warners Bay Australian Football Club is seeking a Senior Women’s Coach for the 2021 season. The team participated in the Women’s Black Diamond Cup competiti...on in 2020. The successful candidate will have a strong football background and strongly developed communication and interpersonal skills. Level 1 (or higher) AFL coaching accreditation will be required. The willingness and ability to promote and lead a positive and inclusive culture must also be demonstrated. Previous coaching experience, whilst not necessary, will be highly regarded.
