18.01.2022 Dear ACTA Clubs, Zones and Members Please be advised that, at this afternoons ACTA Executive Committee Meeting, a motion was unanimously passed to Cancel all ...ACTA National Events for 2020. This decision was made, primarily based on: the need to protect all members health and safety, (especially given the current escalating situation in Victoria and possibly beyond), Inability to predict the likely revisions to any State or Territory Health Department restrictions that may next occur, the deadlines approaching to timeframes in which administrative tasks need to be performed in order to adequately deliver the events, and the cost implications of attempting to stage events that will be severely under-subscribed. We will provide a more detailed report in the August Clay Target e-News which will go out to our members next week. Kind regards, Paul

14.01.2022 Regional Victoria can begin competition again! So ..... with a strong mind towards social distancing, hygiene and the safety and well-being of all in attendance..., competition can recommence in regional Victoria. Numbers on a trap must be limited so that 1.5m distance is maintained with only the minimum admin allowed eg a referee and a scorer. This would usually be 5 competitors plus ref & scorer. NO SPECTATORS ARE ALLOWED! Multiple traps can be used at the same time. People waiting for their squad must not congregate and should, preferably, wait in their car - well away from other participants. Canteens may be open. Club-rooms may be open but are subject to the one person per 4 square metre rule. It is essential that all hygiene and cleaning protocols are strictly followed. Metropolitan Melbourne clubs are still under close down restrictions at this stage and may not open except under special permission conditions approved by VCTA. See more

ACTA/SCA & Victorian Government Covid-19 conditions to apply, that being strictly 10 shooters per section. 03.01.2022 Dear Clubs and Members - it is with a great deal of pleasure that VCTA announce that club activities, essentially practice activities, can recommence at clubs a...s of midnight tonight (Tuesday 12th May). There are some strict guidelines though. Firstly, clubs must make themselves aware of the ACTAs Covid-19 Club Compliance guidelines and strictly adhere to the recommendations it contains. Secondly, clubs must contact the ACTA CEO (Paul Gilbert) and inform him of their compliance and when their activities will recommence. This is most important as it is required for insurance purposes. The Vovid-19 Club Compliance guidelines are attached. VCTA Executive will continue with its meeting on Friday night (May 15) and any further advice will be communicated as quickly as possible.
