25.01.2022 Due to the bad weather this evening and weekend, Basketball ACT has asked that parents, carers and players remain in their cars until 10 minutes before their games. If you are playing at Belconnen on courts 1 and 2, please keep an eye out for signs for your courts, either near the front door or under the shelter of the shops next to the stadium. Please do not go to the dirt carpark area as it's too muddy. Basketball ACT is also reminding everyone that only one parent/carer ...per participating player is allowed in the stadiums at both Belconnen and Tuggeranong, with no additional spectators (or other siblings) allowed. Parents are asked not to leave other children alone in cars while their sibling is playing - this is illegal and is not safe. Wishing all our Dodgers teams a great weekend of basketball!

23.01.2022 After the awesome semi-finals win by our Premier 1 Women's team last Wednesday night, we've had more great news from Belconnen Basketball Stadium last night and today Our Under 14 Girls Division 1 team is through to the finals next week, after defeating Tuggeranong Southern Cross last night (35-32). And our Under 14 Division 6 (White) boys are also through to the finals, after defeating Marist 23-18.... Our Under 12 Division 3 boys fought valiantly in their semi-final, only to lose the game by ONE POINT (22 to 21)! Awesome effort team We're still waiting on the final scores for our Under 14 Division 4 boys' game against Radford, and our Under 16 Division 4 girls' game against Tuggeranong Southern Cross - we'll let you know how they went once we know Best of luck to our Under 16 Division 3 boys team who will compete tomorrow in the semis for a spot in the grand final!

22.01.2022 3x3 XMAS HUSTLE - SATURDAY 12 DECEMBER 2020 Hit the court for some sunshine, some groovy tunes and to spread some Christmas cheer because Basketball ACT’s 3x3 X...MAS HUSTLE is now open for registration. The 3x3 XMAS HUSTLE is open to ALL ages (U12, U14, U16, U18 and OPEN Men and Women) and will be contested across Div1 and Div2 in each age group. 22.01.2022 The 2020 Winter competition has been running for a month now with games held every night at Belconnen Basketball Stadium... That's a lot of games when you facto...r in Premier Division, Senior Social and Junior games.....so it kind of makes sense that with so much traffic at the stadium, BACT has noticed a corresponding increase of LOST PROPERTY !!!! At the end of every night, MSO's gather anything left behind and either place them in the LOST PROPERTY Box (near the drinking fountain on Court 1), the basketball trolley or the drink bottle crates... As @ Monday 17 August, we have had 47 drink bottles left behind, a whole heap of basketballs, and a raft of clothes...as per BACT policy, any lost property unclaimed by the end of the month, will be disposed of... Please note - Any valuable items found (ie wallets, purses, handbags, phones) or items with names/phone numbers, are held in the BACT office and we will do our best to contact you, and alert you that we have your item... So come and grab your gear, before its ALL gone !!!!!

19.01.2022 Great news...a delivery of club shorts has just arrived! We now have all sizes except size 10. The uniform store will be open for 15 minutes tonight (Friday night) at 5.45pm for collections, and again (for 15 minutes) next Tuesday at 5.30pm. If you purchased shorts at the time of registration, please bring along your proof of purchase, otherwise it is $45 cash or you can do a direct transfer to the club. ... Our uniform store is located right near the indoor basketball court / gymnasium at the Hedley Beare Centre (Old Stirling College), Fremantle Drive, Stirling. 12.01.2022 ZOOM IN TO OUR AGM! Our Annual General Meeting will be held at 8pm next Sunday 2 August via Zoom! All Dodgers families and players are welcome to join in from the comfort of your own home. 12.01.2022 RETURN TO PLAY PROCEDURES As part of our protocols, there are a few things to do...but also a couple of things you can’t do... This one is about SPECTATORS...to... ensure BACT are adhering to ACT Government requirements and Phase 2.2.1 protocols, we are NOT allowing spectators for Senior competitions (Premier and Senior Social) at the moment... 07.01.2022 Over the weekend, Basketball ACT commenced transitioning our spectator check-in process to utilise the Check In CBR app...the safe and easy way to record your v...isit with us... You will start seeing QR Code posters on display, for spectators to scan on arrival... The app can be downloaded from the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store, however we have been informed that the Android version will be rolled out shortly... We will still have a physical check-in (for those who don't have smart phones)... #checkincbr

01.01.2022 Meet the inaugural recipients of our new Brian Franklin Service Award! We would like to recognise the exceptional service of Lee Hodges and Natalie Boyes to our Club over a long period of time. This dynamic duo ran our junior girls program for many years, and have also been very active in numerous other Club activities.... We are immensely grateful to Lee and Natalie for their dedicated service - and we look forward to continuing to see them around the Club. Our new award also recognises Brian Franklin's extensive service to the Club - twenty years as Club President and a Dodgers player for 50 years!!!
