25.01.2022 Updated donation lists for Storm Victims of Bara-Parsa Nepal 2019... Out of total donated fund of Aud 1826.95, We were able to use only Nrs 1 Lakh; equivalent to Aud 1275. This is because we were receiving donations after completion of two relief projects. We used Nrs. 50,000 for each project as notified previously via social media. The remaining fund of Aud 551.95 will be kept into We Care Nepal Charity Account and utilised for future projects of WeCareNepal.... 06.01.2022 As the first phase of the support project for the storm victims in Bara and Parsa district, relief package including blankets, mosquito net and bed sheets (wort...h NRS 50,000) were provided to 40 families affected by the storm. The needy families were identified and the relief distribution was managed by Sange Chhoyling Bauddha Gumba, Bara and the local representatives. We are very glad to be able to bring a bit of joy among the victims. Another program is being held to provide help some to other victims and we will update you on that shortly. 06.01.2022 DONATION APPEAL FOR STORM VICTIMS-NEPAL A strong rain-storm hit the southern part of central Nepal on Sunday night (31st March) causing devastating loss of lives and properties especially in Bara and Parsa districts. The storm that flipped many vehicles and blew a bus carrying more than 40 passengers was simply strong to destroy approximately 1500 houses. Official figures show that at least 27 people including 6 children lost their lives while 668 are injured. Thousands of pe...ople who also lost their belongings are now facing problem of food and shelter. Reconstruction is not going to be easy since most of the affected have poor financial background. So, we would like to appeal to join our hands to help storm affected families by donating what you can. Fund raised through donations will be used to provide immediate relief goods to the victims ... 05.01.2022 Relief distribution update for storm affected area in Parsa District. As second phase of our relief distribution to the storm affected area in Bara & Parsa District, we have been able to support 29 school kids of Musahar village of Birgung 22- Maniyaari, Parsa Distict. The school bags containing water bottle, thongs, lunch box, T-shirt, shorts, copy, pen, pencil, Eraser, colours, Ludo game, skip rope, Ring, Chess, Table Tennis kits, football, hygiene soap etc were provided... to the underprivileged kids. We Care Nepal contributed NRS 50,000 to the joint project with few other organisations that supported total of 105 kids of Maniyaari Musahar Village in coordination of local social worker Arbind Kumar Singh.
