07.01.2022 I thought Id share that story with you as I did with my students on this very important day for many years. We sometimes forget about our children thinking their life is great, why wouldnt it be? Theyre young, free, innocent. What troubles would they have? The answer is not always what well expect. Ask them R U OKAY?... They mightnt know how to respond but you just open the door of communication. Listen. I wear many hats as some of you know. But my most important hat is my listening one. I dont just sell clothing, my space is an area in which my customers talk to me. I try and make everyone feel as though theyre worth every garment they try on. Just being there on that day of uncertainty can make a huge difference in someones life. Today is not only R U OK Day but a day to say hello to the person you walk past, compliment someone on their appearance, life at present is so uncertain. R U OKAY? Sim X
