15.01.2022 We Care Disability Services(Quirindi) are working hard to maintain services for our valued clients. If a participant or their carer/guardian have additional questions regarding their services, please contact us. We are encouraging people not to come into the office. The NDIS have made some very good provisions for participants during this difficult time. Rest assured our staff are complying with all recommended Infection Control measures. To minimise the risk you should:... wash your hands frequently with soap and water, before and after eating and after going to the toilet cover your mouth and nose when you cough or sneeze, dispose of tissues and use alcohol-based hand sanitiser often avoid physical contact with others (touching, kissing, hugging etc.). If you are well and your support worker is well, you do not need to wear surgical masks as there is little evidence supporting the widespread use of surgical masks in healthy people to prevent transmission in public. NDIS participants Participants should contact the NDIA on 1800 800 110 if they need to talk to a planner or make changes to their plan due to COVID-19. email [email protected] if they have any questions use the webchat on the contact page of the NDIS website to talk to us online. More information about COVID-19 for NDIS participants and their families and carers is available on the NDIS website: www.ndis.gov.au
