She says that without key supports, we are reducing this capacity. Emily says: ‘This project is an opportunity to make a difference in the early days of re-entering the community after time in custody. I want people exiting prison to know they are a welcomed member of our community, and to give them something that takes away some of the initial stigma and allows them to focus on a positive future.’

14.01.2022 Tomas Remenyi, a university researcher, is passionate about finding ways to identify and solve large, systemic problems in our world. The Welcome Back(pack) aims to break the cycle of disadvantage, by providing assistance to some of those in our society who have acute needs that can be easily met with just a little coordination and compassion. By providing support during a time of stress and change, this project aims to aid the reintegration of prisoners into society.

How do you find yourself somewhere to live when you have a terrible credit history and no cash for bond? Read the story here: https://10daily.com.au//why-women-struggle-to-survive-when
