25.01.2022 This is something that not everybody is good including me but it is something we all must learn. Stop and listen to your body and respect what it is telling you!!!!

24.01.2022 Often we look for difficult ways to solve our health problems but I think food can be the root cause that we don't even recognise. At the Wellness and Vitality Patch we use a fantastic Hair Analysis that works on biocompatibility and how foods affect the body. Do you have persistent health concerns such as headaches, sinusitis, skin problems, arthritis, irritable bowel syndrome, mood changes or notice often when you eat you just don’t feel great? This test is a great place to start on your health journey. Message me or call now on 0429040376 to explore how identifying your food triggers can benefit you!

19.01.2022 This is so true. Often we hear the whispers and put things off and they always end up screaming at you! If your body is whispering then call Donna on 0429040376 to get in before it screams!!!

19.01.2022 This is amazing. It explains it all. When the boys did motocross their coach always told them right before a race to eat a really brown banana for energy. I am guessing because of the high sugar this will give the energy boost. Personally I prefer a banana that is barely ripe but the underripe is awesome for your gut. How do you like your bananas?

18.01.2022 I hope everyone is managing to stay home as much as possible and stay safe. For the foreseeable future all appointments will be done via Skype so if you have been waiting to find a time to book in this is an ideal opportunity. Please message or call to make an appointment.

15.01.2022 We often skirt around the topics of women’s hormones and menstrual periods but it is something we all deal with and should be okay chatting about!!!

13.01.2022 A lovely recipe for a weekend treat!!!

10.01.2022 Are you struggling to work out what is at the root of your health concerns? This is a great place to start.

10.01.2022 As we are heading into 2020 I thought it was a great time to discuss the differences between two types of tests we do in clinic. We have the Hair 500 test which shows the compatibility individuals have with their food. This is a great place to start with your health journey and to use it as a guideline of what foods you should or should not be eating. The other option we have is the Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis. This is an information packed test that shows not only wha...t your minerals look like within your body but also if you have any heavy metals. If you are interested in kickstarting your health for 2020, message me or call me on 0429040376 to discuss the best place to start! Call now.

04.01.2022 Now summer is here it is a great time to get some vitamin D. Vitamin D is a fat soluble vitamin that we get from sun exposure and our foods. It is activated by the liver and kidneys, however it is amazing how many of us are actually vitamin D deficient even though we live in such a sunny country. Vitamin D is important for so many body processes such as bone health, particularly helping with calcium metabolism and absorption. It helps the immune system and the nervous sy...stem. With a vitamin D deficiency you are more at risk of getting sick, being tire, bone and muscle problems, depression or impaired wound healing. It doesn’t take much time in the sunshine to get vitamin D and 10-20 minutes is all it takes. Just remember not to get sunburnt. When you spend time outside you are not only getting vitamin D but you are in nature and that is so good for your head space as well. Another way to get vitamin D is to eat vitamin D rich foods. These include fatty fish such as salmon, tuna or mackeral, cheese, egg yolks, mushrooms and organic beef liver.

03.01.2022 It is a beautiful time of year and often at this time of year we decide we need to make changes - whether that be to get fit, lose weight, eat healthier. Over the next few weeks I will be posting some thought provoking ideas. For now though, it is important to look at what you want to achieve over the summer months. Often identifying what our health goals are, is a great place to start. We seem to live in a world of busyness. I thought COVID would be the thing that made us... all take stock of what we were doing and make a note not to let it happen again. However, if you are anything like me, I find that busyness creeping back in. One of the most important things you can do for your health is to slow down and allow some blank space in your week so you get to enjoy the little things. The butterfly in the garden, the new rose starting to bloom, even the bees on the flowers. When we have time to notice the details we are able to spend our days being so much more focused on life and the people around us. If you want help to identify your health goals or to get your health back on track let me know so we can work together!! "Of the millions of things you do not understand, may today be the day you embrace the unplanned. Find in new moments not only new things, but space to slow down and room to breathe." Morgan Harper Nichols
