25.01.2022 Fabulous day at the Club yesterday. Our first "Coach Day". Thank you to Coach Dan, Emily and David from Tennis Excellence for joining in with social play and demonstrating some doubles tactics. 24.01.2022 What a happy day we had at the Club yesterday. Really pleased to have two of our new coaches along from the Tennis Excellence team, Dan Sewell and Mitch Vernon. Thanks Mitch for playing in the competition and to Dan for joining in with our social play. Dan and his coaches are scheduling upcoming programs which will be communicated shortly. 07.01.2022 GAPS Support Group Meeting is on again this month. Monday 31st August 7pm Venue:- Wembley Downs Tennis Club This Months Topic:-Acid Reflux and IBS (Irritable B...owel Syndrome) Hi there, our first GAPS workshop was very encouraging! In spite of heavy rain between 7-8:30pm, we had 18 people join us! Topics touched on were around the concept of GAPS - gut and psychology syndrome - basically the health of your gut impacts disease and so becomes the first line of treatment in your return to health. We meet on the last Monday of each month, making August 31st the date to mark on your calendar. This month we are looking at our gut from top to bottom, to see what should be working and why, troubleshooting with solutions that you can implement. . Debi, GAPS coach, will take us through the Intro diet for those wanting to undertake some deep gut healing. Kombucha will be our demo of the month with recipes and scobies (mother cultures) for sale. We welcome feedback on topics you would like covered, and inclusions like case studies, and tips to keep the health journey going! $5.00 entry fee. Drinks and refreshments provided. 02.01.2022 Saturday night was yet another very successful function, presented by the incredible WDTC Social committee. The International Night Was a 5 course degustation dinner, paired with wines, carefully selected by Chris our bar manager. 5 courses for 67 people? not a problem, all under the direction of our social leader Nola, who runs a tight ship and keeps everything on track. Fantastic food, wine, and lots of fun and frivolity.. just look at the pics!
