However, after checking with the NT Government Corona Virus Hotline I have got some great news. As I am a qualified remedial massage therapist I am allowed to keep massaging. If you are stressed, have muscular pain or suffering from headaches then why not book in for a massage. You can claim back from your health fund and I have Eftpos. Today is Sports day at the Health and Welllness Festival so being the supreme athlete that I am I should fit right in. Weekends are overrated anyway, right?

It will probably ru right across the range of health funds as I have heard a rumour that BUPA have already informed their members of similar changes. From 1 April 2019, health insurers will no longer be permitted to pay benefits towards the following services: Alexander Technique Aromatherapy... Bowen Therapy Feldenkrais Western Herbalism Homeopathy Kinesiology Naturopathy Reflexology Shiatsu If you frequently use your extras cover to access natural therapy services, we appreciate these changes might not be good news. But there are a range of services that will continue to be included on applicable Medibank extras products including: Chinese Medicine Remedial Massage/Myotherapy Acupuncture Exercise Physiology Thankfully, Remedial Massage is still covered so use your massage cover while you can!
