23.01.2022 Last week our members did a cleanup of our displays at Foberthy Park Wentworth. Finished off with Fish n Chips at the park for dinner. A BIG Thank you to all who assisted.

20.01.2022 Our Footy Tipping comp is over and the Winner gets to choose which charity the $220 prize money goes to. We had three equal 1st place getters. Julie Blore, Ted Murray & Bruce Thompson. We will reveal soon who the outright winner is to be ! But on another note the organiser Bob wheeldon (Who has been running this event for years now) brought ALL PARTICIPANTS a large bag of chocolates & goodies, so everyone was a winner. 19.01.2022 Welcome to our new President for 20/21 Joe Kervin. We had our Covid 19 official changeover on the 30th June and farewelled Cassie who was our President for two years.



16.01.2022 Colonel Harland Sanders became an active Rotarian in 1919 when he became a founding member of the Rotary club of Jacksonville, Indiana at the age of 29. After t...hat he joined the Rotary club of Corbin, Kentucky and then the Rotary club of Shelbyville, Kentucky, and was an active member until his death in 1980. He always wore his Rotary pin. "There's no reason to be the richest man in the cemetery. You can't do any business from there." Colonel Harland Sanders.

10.01.2022 The Wentworth main street now has their own music / public announcement system with thanks to the Rotary Club of Wentworth & Transgrid. Customers shopping, banking, or just browsing in Wentworth's main street will now be entertained with music and during Country Music month, or Christmas appropriate music will be played.

05.01.2022 The Wentworth Sporting Complex Golf Club has had a small facelift out on the greens, much to the delight the some 90 members. For sometime now the old flags and poles have looked worst for wear so the club approached the Wentworth Rotary club to see if they could assist.... The local Rotary club jumped at the chance and supplied 18 new poles & flags for their greens. Pictured on the green, sporting the new pole and Flag is Bill & Bob Wheeldon.
