24.01.2022 Hello everyone! This will be quite long so please bear with me. As stage 4 will kick in tomorrow night we would like to firstly THANK YOU for the massive support and work you have all thrown our way in the last 6 months. Its been the craziest time in the last 15 years ive been here. ... The support and cooperation that every customer has shown is amazing and we thank you. The next 6 weeks is going to be challenging. We will be open for business with our normal precautions in place, as well as a few more. We will be asking for your name and number, regardless how long you have been at the shop, to assist with contact tracing if we have a case - Taking an extra step. Extra cleaning will be involved daily on common areas for everyones safety - Doing our part. We have a Covid Safe Plan in place incase we have an infected staff member. A few questions from our customers that we would like to clear up "I live further than 5km from you, but need your services, can i still come?" - Yes, everyone requires a working, safe and roadworthy car. Collecting your groceries, going to the doctors and for emergencies you need to keep your car maintenance up to date. "I have an interlock fitted, can i still get that serviced?" - Yes, we will have paperwork from Vicroads in the coming days relevant to this. SmartStart will advise all clients of the rules also. This is a copy and paste from the industry adviser - "Stay at Home Directions No. 7 state that if it is not reasonably practicable for a person to obtain the necessary goods and services from within the 5km zone, then this rule would not apply. (See s 5, Part 1(AC)(B)(ii) of the Stay at Homes Directions No 7)." If you feel unsafe about the travel, or unsure - we can offer a pickup and drop off service. We ask you arrange this well ahead of your appointment and ensure you have sanitised your car - all handles, steering wheel, hand brake, shifter, window switches, bonnet release, radio etc etc. If you have an appointment with us please attend it if you can, or arrange an alternate transport - This means a lot to us. I have not had to put anyone on Jobkeeper, or stand anyone down, and of this im EXTREMELY proud. To keep the boys in a job is a testament to your support, and we still need it! We can also arrange a tow truck to pickup and drop off your car if necessary. Every local small business appreciates your patronage, especially during these times, no matter how small the job. Dont forget, this will be over one day, life will go on we just need some time to get there, so keep doing you! Stay safe everyone! Josh

11.01.2022 Hello everyone, Scary times isnt it? We would like to inform you we will be open for business, albeit with a few changes for the safety of everyone. Firstly if you have an alcohol interlock fitted, we are here and open to keep you going - We will be offering bi-monthly servicing so you only need to come in every 2 months for the time being, reducing your risk and ours.... We would also like that anyone with an appointment with us, please clean your car out a bit, and using some disinfectant on the handling parts of the car (steering wheel, shifter, keys, interior and exterior handles, seat belts and buckles etc) This is for your safety and ours. We will be as of tomorrow wearing gloves during interactions, we will have sanitizer (if the shops have any left!) available for you, and a safe distance barrier at the counter. As per normal, please dont walk through the workshop, if no one is around call out or wait patiently as we are not far away. Lastly, the next few months will be scary, not only for health but for business big and small. We need you to continue on and keep every small business afloat, thats by coming in for the smallest things like globes and fuses, to larger jobs - all of these put money in the boys pockets, who have lives at home, food to put on the table, mortgages and bills to pay too. Stay safe Josh

06.01.2022 Good morning, REDARC Electronics have had a product recall on the V2 Towpro brake controllers, if you have had a towpro fitted from September 1 2018 up until January 12 2019 then you will need to have the serial number checked, we can do this any time even if its not fitted by us. Pop in for a check up.
