20.01.2022 Sometimes it's just the smallest touch that's needed to show some love Let's see your furbabies showing each other how much they love each other #westblacktownvet #vetclinic #vet #cats #showsomelove #dogs #furbabies #weloveseeingyourpets #bringsasmiletomyface
20.01.2022 When your leash turns into Peach's new toy At her last annual check up, it was discovered that Millie had a grade 4 heart murmur. Xrays revealed a slightly enlarged heart, so she was started on heart medication straight away. She visited us again recently for her 3 monthly check, and we're happy to say her murmur has improved and she's as active as ever. Annual health checks are so important for our furbabies. Regular check ups help us pick up any issues early so the appro...priate treatment can be given. For cases like Millie, we check every 3-6 months to monitor the condition so any changes are treated appropriately. #westblacktownvet #vetclinic #jackrussellterrier #dogswithheartdisease
19.01.2022 Our nurses are very skilled at multi-tasking. Nurse Star demonstrates this by combining quality kitten cuddle time with sweeping the floors after a busy day. #westblacktownvet #vetnurse #vetnurselife #kittens #cute #multitasking
17.01.2022 Dobermans have often been labeled as aggressive dogs, but we often find them to be lovable goofs - like Sasha. This girl is the perfect patient and looooves her treats when she comes to visit. #westblacktownvet #vetclinic #vet #doberman #dog #lovable #beautiful #dogs #perfectpatient
16.01.2022 It's that special time of year again and Henry has stopped by to celebrate with us. But first thing's first - covid test! #henrytheelf #elfontheshelf #elfinthevetclinic #christmastime #safetyfirst
16.01.2022 Recently Miki was feeling unwell so his concerned family booked him in for a check up. After his initial examination, a blood test was performed giving our vets the diagnosis - Miki had diabetes. He was admitted into hospital straight away and stabilised with intravenous fluids and insulin. It didn't take long for Miki to start feeling better, so he was sent home with his relieved family to continue his new medical regime - twice daily insulin injections with weekly blood te...sts to determine his ideal insulin dose. Miki has been the perfect patient for us during his multiple visits, and all the staff just love his gorgeous face. #westblacktownvet #vetclinic #vet #cat #diabeticcat
14.01.2022 Let's have a bit of fun today!
14.01.2022 MEET THE STAFF Introducing Dr Vivian Tran... Vivian graduated from the University of Sydney in 2019. She worked at the Animal Welfare League veterinary clinic and shelter before joining us at WBVC. Vivian's dedication, attention to detail, enormous heart and can-do attitude have already made her an important part of our little team. ... We asked Vivian... What's your favourite part of being a vet? "Being part of a community which is always looking to improve the health and comfort of our pets. Of course, I also love the occasional puppy or kitten cuddles in the rare bit of downtime!" Do you have pets? "I have one blind, grumpy cat called Koby who I rescued off the street when he was a kitten. He may be a grump, but I still love him to bits!" If you could be an animal, what would you be? "I'd be a cat. The idea of basking in the sun as a full-time job sounds amazing." What do you do when you're not at work? "I love to cook and bake new things for my friends and family. I have an unhealthy habit of giving my family very high blood sugar and cholesterol! If I'm not cooking, I'm watching a movie or just chilling with my cat." Be sure to say "hi" to Vivian if you see her in the clinic!

01.01.2022 This handsome fellow is Bronson. Weighing in at 40kg, Bronson is a muscle-bound lad and suffers from arthritis and occasional neck pain. He also has allergic skin disease, which causes him to lick his paws. Thanks to his devoted mum, Bronson is doing really well at the moment. She has helped to trim his weight down, is giving him Antinol (a potent green-lipped mussel extract which helps his joints and his skin) and brings him in regularly for Synovan arthritis injections. ... We just LOVE this boy.
01.01.2022 "They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old; Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning We will remember them."... #remembranceday #wewillrememberthem #11thnovember #lestweforget
