14.01.2022 Lots of overseas visitors come from all over the world,
12.01.2022 The big wet has delivered 130 mm over 4 days with more likely yet. The House Dam is full back up past the airstrip road. Most dams should be full, possibly a couple overflowing. All dams were cleaned out, some deepened and two new ones constructed. This should ensure a good supply of water for most of the year. Total rainfall for the year so far is now 178 mm ( 7 inches ). Which is fantastic. So how many floodgates will need replacing? A busy year of branding should come as a result of good water and new feed.
11.01.2022 Take care and stay safe. Remember, if it's flooded, don't even think about it.
10.01.2022 West Leichhardt Station is closed to all visitors until further notice

05.01.2022 West Leichhardt Station is a working cattle station. During muster season, about Easter to October, visitors can watch from a safe distance. For bookings and information on rates for staying at West Leichhardt Station, please call the homestead and speak to Joan or Michelle 07 4743 8947 Apart from the station activities and camping facilities, West Leichhardt Station also offers visitors the opportunity to observe birds (over 250 species have been seen), spectacular views from the top of the range behind the homestead and many and varied landscapes for photographers and artists. There is always something to do or you can relax around the large bar-b-que or simply lie on the green, green grass.
