25.01.2022 The 2020 Freo Kids Dash has taken off!

24.01.2022 Join us this Sunday, 22 November, for the 2020 WAMC Deepwater Point Run! If you are not able to run but would like to volunteer please email [email protected]! The event hosts a scenic 3km (out & back), 7.5k (1 lap) & 15k (2 laps) - around the river between the Mt Henry & Canning Bridges from 7am to 9am.... There’s a role for everyone: - Marshals - Drink Stations great one to do with friends, family or community group! - Set up & Pack up Friends and family welcome! See you all Sunday!

24.01.2022 Having the word champion appear on nearly every line of your Bio is impressive! Wendy has a firm grip on her age group champion status and isnt letting go anytime soon, except for the Bridges! She is one of our enthusiastic volunteers and you will see her smiling face over the weekend at bib collection and race day itself. Ask her about anything to do with the event or even running in general and she will be more than happy to help!

21.01.2022 The little pocket rocket! Dont be fooled by her size, she packs a punch and can run like the wind. Look out for Lisa next week as she returns from a few years out. We think she is pretty awesome and her 10km PB time could well be under 40mins after Sunday!

20.01.2022 One of the men tasked with calling all finishers across the line on Sunday, Jon Kappler. A superstar in the WA running scene and plenty of stories to tell. He has a few records of his own and definitely has the credentials to call a race of this nature. He has done his research and will be teamed with his mate Rob Goyan, so anything can happen. Throw in special comments by Jules Bennett and we are bringing the A team to call this memorable event.

09.01.2022 For those who like to rely on the GPS watch, there is no need! Meet Kim Vivian, the official course measurer for the 2020 Bridges Fun Run and 10km State Championships. Although your GPS may say you have run further than the 10km, it definitely isnt true. Kim is also the lead cyclist so there is no chance you will be running further than you need!

06.01.2022 Absolute legend of the Club and we are certainly glad Peter joined 20 years ago. Not only does he run, but is also one of the many who aid in producing these events! Two decades of running, but, were sure he will have plenty more to follow!

05.01.2022 Did someone say Ultra Runner...? Yep, Vlad Ixel is one of those guys who just loves to run (for long periods of time)... A very accomplished athlete in Australia and abroad. His results speak for themselves! This race though will be his version of a sprint race so expect him to see at the finish line sooner than expected..!

04.01.2022 An all-round top bloke and none better to call the action on Sunday than Mr Microphone himself, Rob Goyen! Teamed with JK and special comments from Jules Bennett these guys will have you ready for action when the gun goes. They will then be ready for you to cross the finish line, primed and ready to go! Plenty of action happening race day so if you arent racing, come on down and enjoy the fun of the finish line (some say more fun that the race itself)!

02.01.2022 The best thing about running are the people you meet, the places you go and the races you experience. Kudos to Ashul who last year broke the four hour barrier in the marathon. He is another athlete who had a stellar run in the Perth Half setting a PB and we will be cheering all the way for Ashul as his tries to break his 10km PB also!
