25.01.2022 Hi all , Don’t forget , training tonight at Westbury starting 5.30pm. See you all there. Bring a water bottle

25.01.2022 Seen a massive amount of runs at NTCA 1 in a game that you would see very rarely... Launceston's 6/348 is the highest One Day score against Westbury in Westbury's NTCA history, previously beating Riverside's 7/321 in season 2000-01 at Westbury. Westbury's reply of 8/340 is Westbury's 2nd highest OD score, one short of the 4/341 against George Town in season 2012-13.... It will also need confirmation and will be published in the morning if confirmed, but Chathura Athukorala (Chooka) with his knock of 163 may have scored the highest knock in a One Day fixture for Westbury for some 32 years.

25.01.2022 It’s been a busy week on the shamrocks socials, so we have decided to incorporate two Cock'n'Bull British Pub player/volunteers of the week in one. Last weeks volunteer of the week goes to Kaleb Williams who has stepped up to take on the coaching role of the Westbury under 16’s side. It is fantastic to have the young brigade stepping up and helping guide the future generations of shamrocks. Last weeks player of the week also went to Joe Griffen who made 90 off 75 balls in second grade before earning his a grade debut in a tight game against launceston. Well done to both boys!!

23.01.2022 Welcome to the new year with a weekend of T20s for both 1st and 2nd Grade teams.

23.01.2022 After some overnight checking to confirm, we can confirm that "Chooka" has got a record to his books... His 163 yesterday is the highest individual score for Westbury in all One Day Competitions in the NTCA History. It has beaten the 142 by Graeme Claxton against Kingborough in season 1988-89. ... As well, the knock is also 10th in all comps in Westbury's NTCA History, going past Stephen Small's 161* in season 1982-83 against Mowbray.

16.01.2022 Last cricket season Craig Dodson, a 42-year-old cricket tragic, set a world record by playing 11 games of cricket for 11 different clubs across Australia, while raising funds for mental health foundation Gotcha4Life. Craig travelled over 10,000 kms, pulling on the whites for a diverse mix of fantastic cricket clubs. He found himself trapped by a bushfire, travelling 1600 kilometres one day just for a Golden Duck and was given a hand by greats of the game like Greg Chappell a...nd Darren Lehmann along the way. It was an epic sporting and lifetime adventure. Craig went through a battle with depression a decade ago and, thankfully, came out the other side. He committed himself to using the tour to raise funds for mental health as well as helping people along the way by sharing his story. In the end Craig’s adventure raised $10,000. Craig has now turned his adventure into a book (with all proceeds going to charity).
