The outlook for grain pricing this harvest could be bearish should the Aussie dollar remain strong and harvesting of the northern hemisphere winter crop conclude with no production scares. Grain marketing business Flexi Grain offers growers strategies to capture pricing opportunities that may appear before harvest, without being exposed to excessive risk. Entering harvest with no active pre-harvest strategy will fully expose growers to harvest prices which could be soft, impacting grower cash flows. 10.01.2022 Yield forecasting platform To provide better oversight of production risk this season, Flexi Grain is commissioning satellite enabled rain gauges into contracted paddocks. Using the rain gauge data and NDVI satellite imagery, Flexi Grain generate live time yield estimates.
