20.01.2022 The Chapman Valley Western Riding Club committee has made the decision to move the July Cutting Show to the 15th and 16th of August. Factors for this decision a...re as follows; Both the Cutting and Western Pleasure arena lost a significant amount of sand during the bad storm (wind) that came through the area on the 24th of May. We have had some wonderful members and local business put up their hands to help but this will involve a large amount of sand to be carted to the grounds before the arenas are once again safe to ride and show in. Our cattle supplier hopes to have more cattle available for our use by August. Covid-19 has changed how we can conduct shows and this extra time will allow us as a committee to work through what will be required of us and of our members. Entry information & program will be announced soon and we look forward to seeing everyone out in the show pen soon.
