Families impacted by meningococcal disease thought their GP would tell them everything they needed to know. They didn’t realise routine vaccinations didn’t protect them against all strains. We are helping to give voice to survivors of meningococcal disease in the hope that others won't have to learn the hard way.... These patient stories are an important element of the disease awareness campaign "KnowMeningococcal" to help parents be aware of the disease and how they can help protect their families.
