22.01.2022 Remember Rusty? Well this happened today! Met up with Foster Dad and Buddy’s new adopted family on his adoption day!! Bitter sweet moments shared between these two as they said their goodbyes to one another. He was a First time Foster and he did an amazing job! He took part in the Zoom calls offered by the shelter to educate himself on adapting Buddyto his foster home and new environment. He reached out to staff and volunteers for advice on feeding schedules and tr...eats and medical care. In turn, He experienced the unconditional love given to him freely by Buddy. He should be very proud of all his hard work! Foster Dad told me that Buddy changed his life! Saying a big Thank you to all the fosters out there for opening your homes and your hearts for these dogs!! 12.01.2022 Buddy aka Rusty is losing his foster dad and needs to be fostered again or better yet adopted!! Breaking heart story of a foster dad loving a dog and well on his way to adopting him when COVID took toll. Buddy was with his foster dad for over 4 months and has thrived with him. He has learned several commands like stay, sit, leave it, wait. He hired a trainer in the beginning and started working with him ASAP. They went on daily hikes i the neighborhood. The neighborho...od kids just fell in love with him as well. Here’s the letter from foster: All Buddy wants out of life is a good cuddle! He is house trained and loves being around you.
