22.01.2022 It is more important than ever to support those in our community who are struggling the most. A reminder, that we are currently collecting new unwrapped toys for kids 0-17 years old from now until Friday 11th December. If you have toys to donate, the amazing people at Hobsons Bay Libraries are again drop off points for us. Can we beat the record number of presents delivered to children this year? 600+ is the lucky number. ... We hope to put a smile on some children's (and their parents) who have done it tough this year?

14.01.2022 We are so grateful to have use of this wonderful Honda Odyssey. It has a massive boot which you can see in the photo has been stocked to the brim with bundles ready for delivery. It’s been getting quite a workout during lockdown with our warehouse coordinator Daniel delivering food, linen and kitchen items to local asylum seekers and refugees. Thanks for your support The Honda Foundation!

14.01.2022 A beautiful quote by Dina Nayeri author of ‘The Ungrateful Refugee’. What a lovely reminder to be kind to one another, especially during this difficult time we are all experiencing. A big thank you to everyone for your ongoing support of West Welcome Wagon as we continue to provide essential services to our asylum seeker and refugees friends.

14.01.2022 Thanks to Fiona for her generous donation of 100 Super Moopers books. The series highlights that our differences are what make us unique and reiterates that we are all capable of being superheroes when we see the best in ourselves. What an amazing message! We can't wait to share these with our families for Christmas this year.

14.01.2022 "A refugee is a normal person like everyone else around us." Our Asylum Seeker and Refugee friends are no different to any of us. Day 2 quote sourced by @voices.international with permission from the International Refugee Council

04.01.2022 Happy World Kindness Day! It's never been more important to be kind to one another with the year that we have all had. Some of the little things you could do to spread kindness are: 1. Send an uplifting text to a friend. 2. Reach out to a family member you haven't spoken to in a while.... 3. Treat someone to a cup of coffee (a friend, stranger, or even yourself. 4. Go slightly outside of your comfort zone at least once to make someone smile. See more
