24.01.2022 We had our first Kaicho’s Black Belt training session since before COVID-19. It was hosted by the Brunswick Dojo. (Thank you Kyoshi Nick) We started at 1pm and finished at 3.20pm in very humid, sticky weather conditions . ... We covered a lot of basics just to dust off the cobwebs followed by Katas: Sanchin Sanseiru Seeinchin Seipai Tensho Kururunka And everybody’s favourite KUMITE!!. We had a really good turn out- there will be one more session next weekend at the Brunswick dojo starting 1pm. If you are available please make an effort as it will be the last BB session for 2020.

19.01.2022 2020 has been a very difficult year, and we have persevered with lockdown home schooling & karate zoom classes. And we have made it , with our heads held high true to the Goju Ryu spirit. I’m very proud of all the students that have supported Langwarrin Karate in 2020. It makes me appreciate my students when I receive Christmas cards like this. I would like to wish all the Langwarrin karate members a very Merry Christmas and a happy New Year. See you in 2021!
