22.01.2022 Sad but we are close to seeing the last of the whales in the area for this season. (Although we saw whales breaching yesterday east of Breaksea Island) Today we changed our tours to be "Scenic Cruises" with the chance of a whale. On our cruises as of Friday 2nd October, we will cruise King George Sound, but we will not be going as far out as the islands unless the weather is calm or we have sightings of whales. We have made a reduction in the cost of our tickets, please cli...ck on the tab above to see new pricing. We have also added a "Summer Sun-downer" including BBQ pack & salad. Commencing some time in December.

11.01.2022 JUST AMAZING While returning to Albany port after being at sea for several days on a survey vessel, West of Eclipse Island yesterday we were followed by 2 blue... whales. We slowed the vessel down some distance away, the 2 whales swam to our wake and then followed us for close to 45 min. At times speeding up to swim along side us. Both whales may have been 20 metres long. Closer to Bald Head we saw blows 500 m south of us and although we did not get any closer to confirm how many I believe it was also a blue whale. More pics to follow. See more

01.01.2022 A young Southern Right whale taking a rest before, no doubt, leaving land fall and heading south to the great unknown waters off Antarctica.
