From Bonnie at TAFE: I have a need to supply 100's of jobs to an employer in Stanthorpe, Warwick, Clifton to do Harvesting work, Monday to Saturday And also a large number of jobs in a Packing Shed in Gatton, 7 days a week. See the map here (PDF) https://www.health.qld.gov.au//map-border-zones-qld-border . This includes both sides of the border people who live in Queensland but work or go to school in their neighbouring border town, or people who live in New South Wales but come to work or school in their neighbouring border town in Queensland. Border... zone residents can cross the border for any purpose. Queensland border zone residents cannot travel outside the border zone in New South Wales (but can travel anywhere within Queensland) and New South Wales border zone residents cannot travel outside the border zone in either Queensland or New South Wales. Link to new pass : https://www.qld.gov.au/border-pass NOTE : - General or Specialist or Essential Activity passes For entry under the General or Specialist or Essential Activity pass categories you can present at the Queensland border and complete a hard copy form. 19.01.2022 2021 Killarney Show Newsletter Dear Resident, This is the first of a series of Community Newsletters we will be sending out to keep you informed of arrangements... for the 2021 Killarney Show. Your Show Committee is committed to ensuring our Show proceeds in 2021 and we, along with a team of volunteers, are working very hard to ensure that happens. The Killarney Show will take place on 19th and 20th February 2021. As a result of the COVID-19 Pandemic, we are bound by Queensland Government legislation to comply with a number of restrictions which will impact on how we run the Show in 2021. We are currently working through the requirements and the impact they have on the Show. It will mean that our Show will look different in 2021 and there will be some events that will not be able to be staged. We will send out another newsletter in early January providing you with details of the Show Program and the requirements we need to meet in terms of contact tracing, logistics etc. In the meantime, please mark your calendars with the dates in February our Show in 2021 may look different but it is still our Show and a very important event for our community. If you have less income than last March you are eligible and if you were in drought or fires last March you are able to use figures from 2018. Please contact your accountants NOW. You must register for the payment by Friday. Good luck to you all.
