25.01.2022 AWESOME NEWS! During each performance of The Dumb Waiter, Whats On? Production Company in conjunction with the Victorian Actors Benevolent Trust and organised by Don Bridges and I guess Wilson via sending buckets down the Dumb Waiter, and with John Wood as patron, we raised... $1,886.05... That money goes to the VABT and towards helping actors and crew and those in our industry who fall on tough times. The VABT have helped in many ways. Medical bills, food and shelter, Rent etc. An amazing group and wonderful to be associated with them. We are so thankful to our audience for such an amazing contribution! Much love! 24.01.2022 One of the many productions our team worked on this year! Whats On? Production Company donated well over 50% of the props and several scenery items to this production for free. We love being involved in theatre where people are dreaming up great things and focussed on making the quality as high as possible with attention on the audience and not the bank. 22.01.2022 As a company based in both Melbourne and the Bellarine Peninsula, our support for the GAC in these unprecedented times is to stand behind them and their decision making, knowing that it is always in the best interest of the greater community and the arts collectively. With the announcement of the early closure (due to covid 19) and the commencement of the long forecasted redevelopment works now eager to get underway, we know we are even more eager to extend and build on our ...relationship with GAC now and into the future. In the mean time, there are many wonderful ideas and concepts floating around Geelong, wonderful venues being approached and wonderful companies of people focussed on telling great stories in even greater and more unique ways. The next 24 months promises to be full of exceptional local and touring talent and wonderfully engaging stories as soon as the doors can be flung open and we for one are eager to get cracking on some new things as soon as we can. 14.01.2022 At every performance of The Dumb Waiter this week, we are raising money for the Victorian Actors Benevolent Trust. Victorian Actors' Benevolent Trust Since 1958... the VABT has been providing emergency financial assistance to those in the entertainment industry who, through poor health or ill fortune, find themselves with nowhere else to turn. The VABT is a not-for-profit charity run by a committee of members who work within and outside of the entertainment industry. They generously give of their time to raise funds and provide financial assistance to those who call on the VABT in their time of need. The VABT have an incredible team of volunteers who assist with bucket rattles and other fund raising events held throughout the year. Along with contributions from donors, the VABT has been able to continue this vital work for over 50 years. The foyer was humming with a large audience who had come out early in the week to give us a test crowd. ... Here are some of the comments we received in the foyer after the show... I just loved it. So entertaining and such a thrill to see John & Don up close. We talked about it the whole way home. So intriguing I didnt know what to expect, but I laughed so much.
