22.01.2022 Wild Dolphins and Whales on respite? In our opinion getting out on the water and interacting with nature is as thrilling as any roller coaster. We visited Hervey Bay this week and we couldn't drive past Noosa without stopping in to see out friends at the Big 4 holiday park. Meeting the dolphins is always worth the early start. 21.01.2022 When your family is spread over central Queensland and you are living with a disability, face to face contact can be very difficult. This week we have helped Rob catch up with his family in Roma, Charleville, Quilpie and Cunnamulla. The heat has been unbelievable but hasn't stood in our way. If you have not visited the area, I hope the photos give a glimpse in to the beauty and vastness of our stunning country. Wheelie Campers Be Inspired! Go Explore! 16.01.2022 Confused by the NDIS? Feel let down? Maybe it is not the NDIS, but the way your NDIS plan is being managed. I hope you find the interview below between Eddie from EdwardTalks and Andrew from First2Care interesting. They discuss the role of plan management and support coordination. To see more of Eddie he is live every Friday at 6pm NSW on his YouTube Channel. Andrew currently has capacity and gives a guarantee of payment of your invoices within 3 days in most cases. 14.01.2022 A rare thing happened this week. We had the opportunity to get some photos of one of our campers. (They are usually out with customers) This one has just had a replacement engine and will be sold in the near future. This is a manual vehicle and all of our new vehicles will have hand controls. I hope the photos show how with a little adaptation a camper can be used to make the inaccessible, accessible. Wheelie Campers Be Inspired! Go Explore!... Photos show the outside of the Wheelie Camper Van with graphics of a kangaroo and the Ozzy outback. Inside photos showing the lift, sink, Q Strainers, Electric bed that lowers to a minimum of 60cm Rotating Seat and space for two wheelchairs. #ndisaustralia #accessible #wheelchair

08.01.2022 A massive thank you to Ross from Spinal Life Australia. Last week whilst in central Queensland I received a call saying Gordon's chair was too low. As I was away I called Ross and as usual he came up with the goods. Although the NDIS will get a correctly fitting chair, when time is against you Ross has helped enable Gordon to get down to see his mum. Wheelie Campers Be Inspired! 05.01.2022 The wheels on the bus go round and round. When you have a mission to introduce Tash to her relatives in Aramac they turn turn turn. Happy to say after three days travel we were able to meet Tash's goal of meeting her family. For the rest of us what a treat to see the drone shots of this amazing part of the world. 05.01.2022 Some weeks our photos are dramatic. Some weeks our posts are poignant. This week the photos could not express the pride we felt. The photos below document the three day trip Tash and her family made from North West Queensland to visit my family on their return journey. My daughters got to meet Tash and immediately started playing with her. I looked and smiled contently. Then I was floored. Rene and Tony explained that was the first time in Tash's twenty years on the planet a child has gone and played with her. There must be a way to change this! Inclusion matters. 02.01.2022 They say a photo says a thousand words. There aren't enough words to describe the lead up to this evening. What could have been a bad situation was quickly resolved with help from the Sarina Motor Inn and the RACQ. After a lot of drama what a pleasure it was to see Carmen and Gordon at my gate. In such a precious period of life what an absolute honour that they should go out of there way to come and stay with me and my family for the night. Beautiful couple and an example to ...us all. Wheelie Campers Be Inspired! Go Explore. Photos show: Carmen and Gordon around a campfire with my two daughters, Carmen and Gordon outside there amazing motor home, Carmen Gordon my kids and campfire and lastly a photo of Carmen's motorhome.
01.01.2022 Invisible disabilities? Anxiety is such a big problem on its own but when it is brought on by trauma it can cause issues not apparent to most. When Eric booked his trip with us he was a little surprised that we could cater for him as he wasn't living life in a chair. This trip ment so much to Eric as he is hoping to commence a master degree in Townsville next year. He currently resides in Adelaide which presents a few challenges. So happy to say that with the correct planning... and the most amazing care taken by David we are pleased that the move is now on track. We will be there to support him all the way and keep everyone updated on his progress. A selection of photos from the trip are below and we can see why he has chosen Townsville. A special thanks to Eric for allowing us to share this personal information to hopefully assist others. Lets us know in the comments how the photos look! Wheelie Campers Be Inspired! Go Explore. Photos show: Wheelie Campers car with mountain in background, Townsville Hollywood style sign, Eric in the clearest crystal waters, Eric on a boat deck with a black dog, Eric cycling, Eric in a wetsuit over a gorge with water below him, Eric sitting in a rock looking down over Townsville, Eric having a outside lunch, Eric at James Cook University and Eric standing on the beach with the most spectacular blue water and perfect sky.
01.01.2022 Happy New Year and what a year. Pleased to say we are ending on a high and starting with a bang. We have Blake and his family and Tash with her family in Noosa. As you will see from the photos the rain hasn't held us back. New friends, great experiences and memories that will last forever. Thank you to Col from Horizon Trikes Tours on the Sunshine Coast for giving his time on New Year's to rev up our day. Next week we are pontoon boating, visiting Ozzy Zoo and much more. 01.01.2022 At the end of a challenging week we have had two blessings. The first being rain and secondly after Tash and her family travelling so far to meet us, we made the return journey to see her. In the photos below you can see my daughter's Lily and Pippa having a raining day play date with Tash. The other photos are group photos with our new extended family. As you will see from the photos a great afternoon was had by all. Wheelie Campers Be Inspired! Go Explore! #inclusion #nobodyleftbehind
