25.01.2022 MADDIE & ADAM Rustic natives in earthy tones suited Maddie’s down to earth personality to a tee as she married her love Adam on a sunny January day. They married on Port Fairy’s East Beach. Then retreated to an epic reception set up at family property that included hundreds of pillar candles and tea lights adorning their tables with eucalyptus accents throughout, under a clear marquee to view the night sky. 24.01.2022 And we are officially back into it for the new year

24.01.2022 Today marks a whole 5 years since Where Love Blooms launched! In some ways it feels like it was just yesterday I started this little adventure and in other ways I feel as though I have been doing this forever(in all the best ways!). Hope you’ll indulge me while I use this occasion to thank and honour all of you have supported me. To my followers: it really is true that every time a small business is supported in any little way the folks running them do a little happy dance. ...Thank you for every like, comment, share, referral - they all mean the world to me. To the vendors that I have gotten to work with over the years: what a joy to meet you all and work alongside you! To all my incredible couples for entrusting me with your weddings: I haven’t taken any of you for granted and feel incredibly privileged that you chose me to play a part in your special day. Blood, sweat and the occasional tear goes into all your weddings because you mean so much to me and are a delight to work with! And an extra special thanks to those of you who took the risk on me in the early days, even before Where Love Blooms came to be, you are a big reason for why I am here doing this today. To my friends and family who constantly encourage me and pick up the pieces that I drop: thanks for looking after my kids, running around after me and giving me your time and muscle! To my mentor and cheerleader: you have taught me so much and all with good humour. Thank you for letting me into your life all those years ago and telling me I am amazing even when I’m not. You gave me the confidence to take the scary steps, actually I think you were my confidence a lot of the time! To my beautiful little family who have sacrificed for me to follow my dreams: thanks for dealing with the mess and for letting me take over the garage! But really, more than anything, for the freedom to do what I love and for loving me unconditionally. And, above all, to my Heavenly Father whose handiwork is my inspiration and who has blessed me abundantly with all these. xo

20.01.2022 INGA & NICK Collaborating with Inga and Nick on their wedding was an absolute dream! After I gave them a little mistaken identity scare (which turned out to be me being a ditz needing to brush up on my Port Fairy locations!), we quickly moved on with planning their styling to combine both Inga's asian heritage and Nick's country australian upbringing. Ideas continued to evolve right up until a few weeks out and I just loved bringing their unique vision together. So much thoug...ht went into the little details, from embracing the Scout Hall's old school aesthetic(yes, leaving the 'No Exit' sign was planned! How amazing is that door?!), to being inspired by Hawker Kampong's asian cuisine through using ginger jars for their centrepieces mixed with a variety of blue bottles and white lanterns. I hope you both had an amazing day, Inga and Nick! Thanks for allowing me to be a part of your day and putting so much trust in me.
